UPSC CDS (1) 2025 Application Form

The UPSC CDS I 2025 application form will be made available on December 11, 2024,on the official website, at upsconline.nic.in. The last date to fill out the UPSC CDS2025 Application Formfor the UPSC CDS I 2025 exam is December 31, 2024.Candidates are required to enter their Email ID and Password/OTP to login to the official website. The application form correction window will be opened in January 2025. The CDS I 2025 exam is scheduled to be conducted on April 13, 2025. Candidates except SC, ST, and females have to pay a fee of INR 200. The application fee could be paid through online mode or by credit, debit card, or UPI payment. Once the application was filled and submitted, candidates were not allowed to withdraw the form. The applicants have to make sure that they fulfil all the UPSC CDS Eligibility Criteria 2025 laid down by the conducting authority before filling out the application form. Only those candidates who satisfied the eligibility criteria prescribed by the governing body were considered for admission into the subsequent stages of the examination. Documents Required for Filling Up of UPSC CDS 2025 Application Form

The applicants must keep all the following documents handy with them when they begin filling up the online application form for the UPSC CDS 2025 examination:

  • Class Xth certificate and mark sheet

Part I Registration (First Phase)

  • The applicants, in the first place, will be required to visit the official UPSC website www.upsconline.nic.in, or click on the direct link provided above

  • The applicants have to next click on the link that reads “Part I Registration”

  • The applicants will be taken to a new page which will contain all the important instructions regarding how to fill out the online application form

  • The applicants have to scroll to the extreme bottom of the page and click on the affirmative option

  • Then the applicants will be taken to a new page where they have to enter all their personal details

  • After filling up their details, the applicants have to click on the “Continue” button

  • After filling up their personal details, the applicants have to provide their preference for AFA/IMA/INA/OTA in decreasing order

  • In case a candidate possesses a senior division NCC ‘C’ certificate or currently serving in the Armed Forces, he/she will be required to specify that

  • The candidates have to cross-check all the details entered by them before clicking on thie “Submit” button

  • After clicking on the “Submit” button, the candidates have to take a printout of the “Part I Registration” page which will consist of the Unique Registration ID etc

Part I Registration (Second Phase)

  • After completing the “Phase I Registration”, the applicants have to go back to the online application page and click on the “Phase II Registration” link

  • The applicants will be redirected to a new page where they have to enter their Unique Registration ID and Date of Birth

  • The applicants will be required to pay the application fee first via any of the available payment methods

  • Following the payment of the online application fee, the candidates have to upload their recent passport-sized colour photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned

  • The candidates have to check if the quality of the image and signature they have uploaded is satisfactory by clicking on the “Preview” button

  • Next, the candidates have to choose the exam centre from a list of available UPSC CDS 2025 exam centres

Steps to Withdraw UPSC CDS 2025 Application Form

The process to withdraw UPSC CDS application form 2025 is explained below:

  • Visit the official website of UPSC
  • Click the link, 'Withdraw Combined Defence Services Examination 2025 Application Form'
  • Read the instructions before proceeding with withdrawing the application form
  • The withdrawal facility is available for candidates who do not want to appear in the exam
  • Candidates are advised to provide the registration ID of the registered application. There is no provision for the withdrawal of incomplete applications
  • Before making requests for withdrawal, candidates must ensure that they have access to the mobile number and email ID which were provided by them at the time of filling out the application form
  • Separate OTPs are sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number and email ID. Requests for withdrawal are only processed after validating the OTPs
  • Once the request for online withdrawal of the application is accepted, candidates must print the authenticated receipt
  • Once the application has been withdrawn by candidates, it cannot be revived
  • The fees are not refunded to candidates
  • On successful completion of the withdrawal of the application, an auto-generated email and SMS are sent on the candidate’s registered email id and mobile number
