UPSC Exam Cut off 2024

The UPSC CSE 2024 Cutoff will be released by the examination organizing authority, i.e., the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), soon, now that the UPSC CSE result 2024 for the Prelims exam has been released on December 9, 2024. The cutoffs for the mains exam will likely be released by the second or third week of December 2024. The UPSC CSE Mains Exam was held on September 20, 21, 22, 28, and 29, while thePrelims Exam 2024 was conducted on June 16, 2024. The cut-off implies the minimum marks a candidate must secure to qualify for the exam and become eligible for the next round. The UPSC will release the Civil Services 2024 cut-off marks for all three stages under its selection process.

Those who qualify for the prelims cut-off are selected to appear for the main examination of UPSC CSE 2024. Those who qualify for the mains cut-off are called for the interview phase of the examination. Finally, the applicants who qualify for the cut-off marks in the interview phase are appointed for various civil services posts nationwide based on their ranking.

The final cut-off marks combine Prelims, Mains, and Personal Interview individual cut-offs. The cut-off marks for prelims and mains will be declared separately on the official UPSC website. This cut-off score decides whether a candidate will move further in the selection process or get eliminated from the selection process.
