The VOCLET 2024 tentative vacancy declaration is scheduled for August 20, 2024. If seats are still vacant, tentative spot counselling will be held on August 23, 2024, to fill the remaining seats. The 4th Phase of VOCLET 2024 admissions has been conducted from July 29, to August 2, 2024. This year, VOCLET 2024 entrance examination is not conducted for Polytechnic and ITI admission in West Bengal, therefore eligible applicants took part directly in the VOCLET 2024 counselling session. Through the counselling procedure, candidates will be assigned seats based on their merit, preferences, and seat availability. About VOCLET

The West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE) hosts the yearly entrance examination for the West Bengal State Council of Vocational Education & Training (VOCLET). VOCLET is the state-level entrance exam that allows candidates to gain entry into second-year diploma courses in Engineering/Technology offered in the state of West Bengal. VOCLET Eligibility Criteria 2024

Only those candidates who meet the VOCLET eligibility criteria will be able to proceed with the registration process for the exam. Candidates found ineligible in the later stage will have their applications cancelled despite having paid the registration fee. Qualification 

  • Candidates who have completed the Class 10+2 examination or an equivalent examination with a combination of subjects including physics, mathematics, chemistry, computer science, electronics, information technology, biology, informatics practices, biotechnology, technical vocational subject, agriculture, engineering graphics, business studies, or entrepreneurship are eligible to apply.

  • Alternatively, those who have passed the H.S. (Vocational) examination conducted by the West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development, or have completed a 10+2 years ITI (continuous) program, are also eligible for admission to the Second Year Diploma Course(s) in any branch of Engineering and Technology. Please note that candidates who are currently appearing for the ITI examination are not eligible for admission.

VOCLET 2024 Application Form

The last date for VOCLET application form 2024 submission was May 31, 2024. VOCLET 2024 application form was released by the West Bengal State Council of Technical & Vocational Education and Skill Development on February 23, 2024. Candidates were required to register online at scvtwb.in by logging in and providing details like their name, class 10 roll number, communication address, father's name etc. The application process involved several steps, such as online registration, filling out the application form, uploading documents, payment of application fee and submission.

Steps to fill the VOCLET Application Form 2024 

Candidates applying for VOCLET 2024 must follow the below-mentioned steps to fill out the application form. 

  • Step 1: Click on the direct link mentioned on this page or visit the official website - scvtwb.in

  • Step 2: Complete the basic registration process that involves Name, Class 10th Admit Card Number, ITI Certificate Details/ Admit Card Number/ Class 12 Details and Mobile Number

  • Step 3: A registration number will be generated after the registration, which will be sent as an SMS to your registered mobile number

  • Step 4: Log in to complete the form-filling process

  • Step 5: Fill in all the personal, education details, exam centre preference and other details

  • Step 6: Upload the scanned image of a passport-size photograph and signature

  • Step 7: Submit the application form, and take the printout of the same for future reference

VOCLET 2024 Counselling Process

After the completion of the VOCLET registration, the authorities will organize the VOCLET 2024 counselling session. Only the candidates whose names are featured in the merit list will be eligible to participate in the VOCLET counselling 2024. The counselling process will be conducted online so candidates are advised to keep checking the official website - scvtwb.in regularly. Applicants will have to select their preferred colleges and courses from the list provided at the time of counselling. Seats will be allotted to them based on merit, availability of seats and choices entered i the registration forms. Once the seat allocation is done, candidates can access their seat allotment letter through the online portal. To obtain the counselling letter, candidates must provide their application form number. The official websites, website.co.in and sctvesd.wb.gov.in, will provide the counselling dates and the list of required documents.

Documents Required for VOCLET Counselling 2024

  • Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, or Physically Challenged categories must present the original Caste Certificate or Physically Challenged Certificate issued by the authorized Government of West Bengal authority during the counselling/admission process.
  • Failure to do so will result in their reserved seats not being considered.

Actually my rank is 8394 and unfortunately I missed to check phase one result and don't know what to do ,I want a government college so I guess with this rank I didn't get any college in 1st round
