Assam PAT 2024 physical admission and document verification for all four rounds will be held from August 27 to August 29, 2024. Following this, institutes will submit the admission report and vacancy list to the DTE Office by August 30, 2024. Candidates satisfying the eligibility norms mentioned below shall be allowed to submit the online application form for the entrance exam. The eligibility rules of Assam PAT include age limit, domicile rules, educational qualification, etc. All the details about the eligibility criteria of Assam PAT 2024 exam can be checked here.  As per the Assam PAT eligibility criteria 2024, candidates must have completed their H.S.L.C. or equivalent examination in a single sitting from a recognized board. The age limit is 20 years 6 months (GEN) 23 years 6 months (SC/ST) and 25 years 6 months (PwD). The candidate must be an Indian citizen and a permanent resident of the state of Assam and have completed the HSLC test with Mathematics and Science as required courses. Candidates must get a minimum of 40% in the qualifying test for the general category, 35% for the SC category, and 33% for the ST category

The Assam PAT Application Form 2024 fill up for admission to State Government Polytechnics of Assam was conducted from June 1 to 20, 2024 in online mode. Assam PAT exam will be conducted in the offline mode which will be of a total duration of 3 hours. The questions in the paper will be the objective & subjective type where the concepts will be of HSLC level. The language of the paper will be Hindi and English. There will be a total of 100 questions in the paper for a total of 100 marks. For the exam, 1 mark will be awarded for the correct answer. There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers. The subjects in the paper will be divided into two major sections: Mathematics and Science, & General Knowledge and English.

Other than the ones mentioned above, the name of a new Assam PAT 2024 examination centre will be disclosed by the officials later which will be located in the Tinsukia district.

DTE will release the Assam PAT 2024 result in online mode in the Last Week of June 2024. To view the results, the candidate must provide their roll number and other required information. The result of Assam PAT 2024 includes vital information such as the candidate's qualifying status, subject-wise and overall marks, and merit rank. Candidates who pass the written test will be eligible to participate in the subsequent stages of admission. Candidates chosen on the merit list will be asked to participate in the counseling/interview process.

Assam PAT 2024 Counselling Process will tentatively start from the first week of July 2024. Only candidates who pass the Assam Polytechnic exam will be able to take part in the Assam PAT counselling 2024. Students must first register to participate in the Assam PAT 2024 counselling process. The status of the Assam PAT allocation for each round of institutions and branches of candidates is published on the official website. After the allocation is published, candidates must submit an acceptance letter in the prescribed format to get a final allotment of the institution and branch. Only applicants who accept their admission within the prescribed time frame will be considered for further advancement of their choice of institution and branch in subsequent rounds of Assam PAT counselling 2024.
