General English Comprehension
The Bihar B.Ed CET General English section comprises 15 questions, totalling 15 marks. To excel in this section, test-takers should keep in mind the below tips -
- The questions related to synonyms, antonyms, idioms, and one-word substitution can be easily attempted if the aspirants make efforts to enhance their vocabulary. Therefore, it is essential for them to learn new words every day and to regularly revise previously learned material to prevent forgetting. Online quizzes and tests can be useful tools for assessing and expanding their vocabulary.
- It is important to have a solid grasp of fundamental concepts of English grammar. Test-takers who do not have a strong hold on grammar should review and revise the basic concepts such as figures of speech, parts of speech, tense, and active-passive voice. A strong understanding of these topics will make it easier to tackle the General English section of the Bihar B.Ed CET.
Logical and Analytical Reasoning
This section will include 25 questions of one mark each. Here are some crucial ideas to prepare for this section -
- Candidates must follow the common topics related to this section.

- Candidates may face questions related to family tree, coding-decoding, arrangements etc.
- They must keep a check on how much time they need to solve the questions as these queries might be tricky ones.

General Awareness
This section carries the highest number of questions and the most marks as well compared to other ones. Aspirants have to attempt 40 questions of one mark each.

- Applicants must read the daily newspapers and watch the news once or twice a day on a regular basis to keep up with the current news and updates.
- Some of the popular ones include The Hindu, The Indian Express, The Hindustan Times, etc.
- Aspirants must have good knowledge of current affairs as well as static GK topics.
General Sanskrit Comprehension and General Hindi
General Sanskrit comprehension and General Hindi will each contain 15 questions of 1 mark each. Please note the General Sanskrit Comprehension section is for the aspirants of the Shiksha Shastri Programme.
