  • Aspirants seeking to join regular B.Ed course need to obtain 50% marks in graduation or post-graduation in Science/Social Science/Commerce/Humanity.
  • B.Tech or BE graduates with specialization in Science and Mathematics need a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
  • Applicants need to have obtained a 50% minimum in Bachelors Degree with Sanskrit.
  • For Distance programs in B.Ed, aspiring candidates must be service teachers or Elementary Education service teachers.
  • Or, they must have finished the NCTE-acknowledged training program for teachers in person.
  • If the candidate is not from Bihar, he will not be qualified for reservation privileges.
  • Candidates from the BC or EBC categories who fall within the Creamy Layer will not be eligible for the advantages of their category's reservation. Their application will be placed in the unreserved category. 
  • Aspirants must mention the category to which they belong. Reservations are permitted under the laws of the Bihar State Government.
