DCECE Eligibility Criteria 2025

DCECE eligiblity criteria 2025 have been set by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination. The DCECE 2025 eligibility criteria include conditions that applicants must fulfill to be eligible for the Bihar DCECE exam including educational qualification, age limit, minimum marks, etc. Candidates must have passed Class 10 from Bihar Board or its equivalent with at least a 35% grade point average to be eligible for the Engineering programme. Candidates who will take the final examinations for class 10 will also be eligible to apply. There is no age limit to apply for the DCECE 2025 exam. The Bihar DCECE eligibility criteria 2025 varies for PE, PM and PMM. GNM (for female only)

  • 10th/12th qualified candidates from any recognized Board who have studied the Science group subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Biology for 12th qualified candidates) and English and have secured at least 40% overall aggregate (35% for reserved category candidates) are eligible to apply OR

  • 10+2 qualified candidates with a minimum of 40% aggregate who also have completed their ANM course from any recognized institution are eligible to apply

ANM (for female only)

10+2 qualified candidates from any recognized Board who also have studied English as a compulsory subject are eligible to apply

Dental Mechanics/Dental Hygienist

10+2 qualified candidates from Science stream with a minimum aggregate of 50% and must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects compulsorily at the qualifying exam level

Who is eligible for DCECE?

Candidates who have passed the Bihar Board's Class 10 exam or any other equivalent test can apply for the DCECE 2025 exam. Candidates who will take the qualifying test in 2024 can also apply on a provisional basis.
