Predict NowEFLU conducts Entrance Test for UG, PG, PGD, Teacher Education and Ph.D. courses, and the candidates need to check the course wise eligibility criteria here. Only the candidates who are eligible as per the criteria specified above shall be considered eligible for the entrance test. The course-wise eligibility has been explained here for the benefit of candidates.
Candidates aspiring for B.A. (Hons) English admission at EFLU should satisfy the eligibility criteria as specified below -
Minimum Qualification: Class 12th
Qualifying Marks in Class 12th: 50% for General & OBC and 45% for SC/ ST
Mandatory Criteria: English as one of the subjects in Class 12th
Other Rules: Candidates pursuing Class 12th can also apply for the entrance of EFLU. However, admission shall be confirmed only after the candidates submit the proof of qualifying Class 12th exams.
The eligibility criteria for EFLU B.A. Journalism & Mass Communication course is as follows -
Minimum Qualification: The candidates must have passed at least Class 12th
Qualifying Marks in Class 12th: The candidates must have a minimum of 50% for General & OBC and 45% for SC/ ST
Mandatory Criteria: The candidates must have studied English as one of the subjects in Class 12th
Other Rules: Candidates pursuing Class 12th can also apply for the entrance of EFLU. However, admission shall be confirmed only after the candidates submit the proof of qualifying Class 12th exams.
EFLU offers B.A. (Hons) in Foreign Languages such as Arabic, French, German, Japanese, Russian and Spanish. The eligibility criteria for all these courses is as follows -
Minimum Qualification: Class 12th
Qualifying Marks in Class 12th: 50% for General & OBC and 45% for SC/ ST
Mandatory Criteria: English as one of the subjects in Class 12th
Other Rules: Candidates pursuing Class 12th can also apply for the entrance of EFLU. However, admission shall be confirmed only after the candidates submit the proof of qualifying Class 12th exams.
The eligibility criteria for M.A. English (Cafeteria) and M.A. Journalism and Mass Communication courses is as follows -
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
Qualifying Marks in Bachelor’s Degree: 50% for General & OBC and 45% for SC/ ST
Other Rules: Candidates pursuing final-year Bachelor’s degree can also apply for the entrance of EFLU. However, admission shall be confirmed only after the candidates submit the proof of qualifying Bachelor’s degree exams.

Qualifying Marks in Bachelor’s Degree: 50% for General & OBC and 45% for SC/ ST
Other Rules: Candidates pursuing final-year Bachelor’s degree can also apply for the entrance of EFLU. However, admission shall be confirmed only after the candidates submit the proof of qualifying Bachelor’s degree exams.
