Haryana DET 2025 Exam - Exam Date, Registration, Pattern, Syllabus, Sample Papers, Cutoff, Previous Year Papers

For the year 2021, the Lateral Entry admission in Diploma (Polytechnic) courses is merit-based, and there is no entrance exam for the same. The last date to register for Diploma admission is July 16, and the last date for Diploma Lateral Entry admission is July 19. 

Haryana DET( L) or Haryana Polytechnic Lateral Admission is conducted by DET Haryana. Haryana DET( L) is an admission process conducted by the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES) for Lateral Admission in the 2nd year of diploma engineering course.

The objective of the scheme is to help ITI students with a one-year diploma degree (after 10th) and 10+2 (Vocational) / 10+2 (PCM) get lateral entry in the second year (3rd semester) in various diploma courses. The State Government aims to attract more 10+2 students to diploma stream through this scheme. 

Admissions in Diploma Engineering Lateral Entry Course including TFW and EWSs category shall be made on the basis of the inter-se merit of Lateral Entry Diploma Entrance Test. Candidates applying for  Diploma Engineering Lateral Entry Course must appear in DET (L) 2020. 

Haryana DET (L) is a mandatory entrance examination for admission in Diploma Engineering Lateral Entry Course and participating in counselling rounds for admission in participating colleges 

Lateral Entry Diploma Entrance Test (DET-L) 2021 shall be conducted online and applications will be accepted online.
