HPU MAT question paper has a total of four sections. Every section in HPU MAT has an equal number of questions and a 2 hour is given to the candidate to complete the exam. The following table can be checked for a section-wise distribution of questions in HPU MAT 2025.

HPU MAT is an offline exam that is conducted in a pen-and-paper-based format. Candidates are given a physical printed copy of the HPU MAT question paper in the exam and they have to mark their answers on a separate OMR Sheet. The exam is conducted once every year as per the format prescribed below.

• The paper is divided into fours sections i.e.

  • English Comprehension

  • Arithmetic Comprehension & Data Interpretation

• The question paper consists of 200 objective-type (Multiple Choice Questions).

• Each section in the question paper contains 50 questions.

• The medium of the question paper is the English language.

• The total time duration is 2 hours.

• Applicants are awarded 1 mark for every correct answer.

• There is no negative marking in HPU MAT 2025.

HPU MAT 2025 Marking Scheme

HPU MAT has a question paper worth 200 marks in total. Each correct answer brings 1 mark to the candidates and there is no negative marking for incorrect attempts. Questions left unanswered in HPU MAT do not affect the final score of the candidate.
