HPU MAT 2025 Selection Process

The HPU MAT selection process 2025 will begin in July 2025 and the HPU MAT 2025 result will be declared in June 2025. During the HPU MAT Selection Process candidates are shortlisted based on their scores and are further called for university-based group discussion and personal interview (GD/PI), which is held in the middle of July for both subsidized and non-subsidized seats. It is an offline process organized by Himachal Pradesh University Business School. A candidate whose name is on the merit list has to report for group discussion and personal interview (GD/PI) to HPUBS at the date and time prescribed by the university.

• Candidates have to appear for the group discussion and the personal interview, which are of 10 marks each.

• Generally, three candidates for each seat are called for group discussion and personal interviews.

• Candidates are selected for admission on the basis of their performance in HPU MAT 2025, group discussion, personal interview, and application rating.

• The candidates for non-subsidized compete among themselves, so is the case with the subsidized seats.
