The ATMA 2024 selection process begins soon after the declaration of the ATMA Result 2024. The selection process for the December session is expected to begin by January 2025. Candidates are selected for admission purely based on their exam results and performance in the pre-admission rounds. After the exam is conducted, AIMS will release the ATMA 2024 result, and aspirants are required to participate in admission counselling.
The last session of ATMA 2024 will be conducted on December 22, 2024. For admission into various management courses, candidates must undergo the ATMA selection procedure and participate in the ATMA counselling process conducted afterwards. Here are some crucial details about the counselling procedure of ATMA 2024.
For every correct answer, a candidate will be given 1 mark.
For every wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
For every unattempted question, no marks will be deducted.
The ATMA 2024 counselling process involves the following stages:
The shortlisted individuals need their personal documents, such as certificates and marksheets, for counselling.
During the time of ATMA counselling, the verification of documents is done. The candidate's admission is revoked if the necessary documents are not submitted.
The score the candidate receives on the ATMA exam determines whether they are eligible for admission.
Candidates who pass the ATMA exam must participate in the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
Candidates will be required to participate in the GD and PI, which will be administered by the relevant B-school.
The selection of a candidate for admission to the B-Schools will be based on the candidate's overall score on the entrance exam, and performance in the GD, and PI.

Group Discussion Round:
For the ATMA selection procedure, all the shortlisted candidates have to undergo the Group Discussion round. The total number of shortlisted candidates is divided into smaller groups comprising five to seven candidates. Shortlisted candidates are required to conduct a group discussion on the political, social, or economic outlook. Personal Interview Round:
This round involves a face-to-face interview with the shortlisted candidates, wherein the overall personality of the candidate is judged by the interviewer. In the ATMA selection process, this is the final round of selection for admission to various courses. Candidates must try their level best to qualify in this round. The Personal Interview round involves the evaluation of one’s personality by an interview panel, either individually or as part of a group. ATMA counselling is conducted by the Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) after the ATMA result declaration. ATMA 2024 selection process comprises 3 major steps:
The counselling dates of ATMA 2024 are yet to be released by the conducting authority. Candidates must note that only shortlisted candidates who are successful in attaining the cut-off scores will be considered eligible to participate in ATMA counselling 2024. Candidates have the privilege to select the centre of their choice while filling out the registration form of participating institutes after the results and cut-off marks are announced.
After the ATMA result announcement, the shortlisting of candidates is done on the basis of their ATMA scores. As a part of the selection procedure, the shortlisted candidates have to appear for rounds of Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Based on the candidates’ overall performance in the ATMA 2024 exam, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview, they are selected for admission to various management courses.
