Predict NowThe HSEE merit list is released by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras on its official website which the officials prepare by considering the marks obtained by the candidates in the HSEE exam. Candidates securing at least 50% marks in the HSEE exam find their name in the Common Rank List (CRL) prepared by the IIT Madras officials.
The officials also prepare a separate category-wise merit list for candidates belonging to different categories. The minimum marks which the Gen/EWS/OBC-NCL category candidates must obtain to be considered for their category-wise rank list is 45%. This minimum marks aggregate is 25% for the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD category. The officials prepare a separate merit list for the PwD category candidates. The candidates are requested to go through the following sections for all the details regarding the HSEE 2023 merit list.

Enter your HSEE candidate credentials and click on the “Login” tab
Take multiple copies of the HSEE rank/merit list after it is displayed on the screen for future reference
The HSEE merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the HSEE exam. In case two or more candidates secure the same aggregate marks, the officials deploy some tie-breaker rules mentioned below to allocate rank -

Aggregate Marks and Part II | Candidate with a higher score in the General Studies section in part I is allocated a higher rank |
Overall Aggregate, General Studies and Essay Writing | Candidate with a higher score in the Analytical Abilities section in part I is allocated a higher rank |
If the tie persists after deploying all the methods mentioned above, both (or more) the candidates are allocated the same rank.
