IBPS Clerk Selection Process 2025

The IBPS Clerk Selection Process 2025 will be conducted in three stages: IBPS Clerk Prelims examination, IBPS Clerk Mains examination, and the Document Verification stage. Candidates who clear all three stages will be selected for the posts of Customer Service Associates in various public banks that take place in the IBPS Clerk examination on an annual basis.

The IBPS Clerk 2025 examination is conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. This examination is also known as the CRP-CSA, or the Common Recruitment Process Customer Service Associates, which is held in two stages: Prelims and Mains examinations. After clearing these exams, the candidates will be called in for the document verification process. With this exam, able candidates are recruited for various clerical positions and roles in public sector banks across the country.

The IBPS Clerk 2025 notification is expected to be released in July 2025. As per the academic calendar released by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection earlier this year, the IBPS Clerk Prelims exam will be conducted on December 6, 7, 13, and 14, 2025. IBPS Clerk Selection Process: Final Stage

The final stage in the IBPS Clerk exam process is the Document Verification stage. In the last stage of the selection process for the IBPS Clerk examination, candidates who have cleared both the Prelims and Mains exams are required to present their important documents. Candidates should know that the total marks or the merit is decided based on the marks obtained by a candidate in the IBPS Clerk Mains examination. The IBPS Clerk Prelims examination is qualifying and doesn’t hold weightage in the merit list. The final results for the IBPS Clerk examination are released on the official website after the Mains exam has been successfully completed. The list of candidates who clear the Mains examination will be called for the final stage of the selection process: Document Verification.

IBPS Clerk Selection Process 2025: Documents Required

Here is a list of the documents that will be required for the document verification for the IBPS Clerk 2025 examination:

  • Printout of the Interview Call Letter
  • System-generated printout of the online application
  • Date of Birth proof
  • Identification Proof
  • Mark sheets and certificates (Proper document from the Board / University for having declared the result on or before 27.11.2020 has to be submitted)
  • Caste Certificate Documents (If you belong to the SC/ST/OBC category, candidates are authorised by the Government of India.)
  • Disability certificate (authorised by the District Medical Board)
  • Experience certificates, if any
  • Persons eligible for age relaxation must produce a certificate from the District Magistrate to the effect that they are eligible for relief in terms of the Rehabilitation Package for 1984 Riot Affected
  • Persons sanctioned by the Government.
  • Any other relevant documents

Important Pointers for IBPS Clerk 2025 Selection Process

Look at some of the important pointers that a candidate must keep in mind for the IBPS Clerk selection process 2025:

  • Candidates who pass the Main examination will be placed in descending order as per their respective categories and marks.
  • On the basis of the number of vacancies, only a certain number of candidates from amongst those who qualify by ranking high enough in the merit list will be called for interview in the ratio of a maximum of 3 candidates for each vacancy.
  • Candidates will have to score minimum percentage marks (to be decided by the bank) in the interview to be considered for final selection.
  • 5% relaxation for reserved (SC/ST/OBC/PWD/XS) category will be available thereon.
  • Interview call letters will be uploaded on the Bank's website after the announcement of the result of the online test.
  • No hard copy of the interview call letter will be sent by post.
