Predict NowThe IBPS RRB Selection Process 2024 for IBPS RRB 2024 exam will begin after IBPS CWE RRB Final Result 2024 are released officially. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will announce the provisional allotment reserve list along with the IBPS RRB Mains Exam Result 2024. The selection process of IBPS RRB 2024 exam is conducted for the candidates who will qualify for the entrance examination with the qualifying marks and the Interview round. The seat allotment of the candidates is done on the basis of ranks in the merit list and post preferences.
IBPS RRB Preliminary examination is conducted by IBPS for the post of Officer Scale I and Office Assistant (Multipurpose).
Candidates become eligible for the further selection process, on the basis of performance in the Mains examination and interview, for Officers Scale I.
IBPS RRB 2024 Mains Examination Selection Procedure.
To be eligible to appear for the IBPS RRB Mains examination, candidates first have to qualify for the IBPS RRB Preliminary examination.
After successfully clearing the Mains examination, candidates applying for the post of Office Assistant are called for provisional allotment.
For candidates who apply for the post of Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer and Specialist Cadre) and Officer Scale III, a single online examination is conducted.
Candidates who successfully qualify in the Single Online Test of IBPS RRB 2024 are called for an Interview.

The interview is coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Bank with the help of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with the appropriate authority.
The interview session is conducted for the candidates applying for the posts of Officer Scale I, Scale II and Scale III.
Candidates who qualify in the Mains entrance exam (Officer Scale I) or Single online entrance exam (Officer Scale-II and Officer Scale III) are called for Interview.
For document verification, candidates have to carry the following documents with them:
Marks sheet of qualifications and other related graduation documents.
Print out of the IBPS RRB call letter
IBPS RRB application form registered for CWE RRBs-V
Photo identity proof
Proof of Date of Birth (class 10th certificate/ Birth certificate issued by Municipal Corporation)
Experience certificates (if applicable)
Disability certificate issued by the authorized medical board.
Caste certificates issued by a competent authority in the prescribed format.
An Ex-serviceman candidate has to produce a copy of the Service or Discharge book along with pension payment order and documentary proof of rank last / presently held (substantive as well as acting) at the time of interview.
No objection certificate if a candidate is working in Government Offices or Public Sector Undertakings.
For age relaxation, the candidate must produce required documents.
Domicile certificate must be produced by the candidates applying in this category and certificate issued by magistrate confirming the 1984 riot-affected person's relief.
IBPS exam authority will release the final allotment list once the exam is over. The IBPS RRB Final Result/ Allotment List will be prepared according to the applied post. The list will consist of state-wise roll numbers and selected candidates. Such candidates will be assigned to different Regional Rural Banks (RRB). The details which will be included in the IBPS RRB 2024 Final Result/ Allotment List include the Registration Number, Marks obtained out of 100, and the allotted bank for the candidates. IBPS board will also release the provisional allotment list for each category depending on the vacant seats. The candidates must fulfill the IBPS RRB eligibility criteria to be eligible for final allotment on the basis of merit. The number of vacancies will be filled on the basis of merit for which RRB or IBPS will not be responsible. The board will release the IBPS RRB 2024 provisional allotment list on the basis of guidelines for age relaxations, reserved categories, etc. set by the Government of India.
It is also to be noted that if two or more candidates obtain the same score in the exam then allotment preference will be given on the basis of candidates date of birth. Only the reserved category candidates' merit will be adjusted against unreserved category vacancies. They will be given provisional allotment first treating them notionally as reserved candidates as per their preference for Regional Rural Banks. Such candidate will not be adjusted against a reserved post, however, shall be treated as if he/she is a reserved category candidate for the purpose of allotment of seat.

As per the IBPS RRB 2024 notification there are a total of 10181 vacancies. There are 5709 vacancies for Office Assistants (Multipurpose) posts while there are 3551 vacancies for Officers Scale I posts. Candidates must check the IBPS RRB notification for a detailed understanding of the vacancies available for different posts.
As per the IBPS RRB notification, the posts available through the IBPS RRB exam include Office Assistant, Marketing Manager, Treasury Manager, Officers Scale I, Banking Officer Scale-II, Agriculture Officer (Grade-II), Law Officer (Grade-II), Chartered Accountant (Grade-II), IT Officer (Grade-II), and Officer (Grade III).
An IBPS RRB PO officer can expect promotions to higher positions within the bank. The next level after PO is usually Assistant Manager, followed by Branch Manager, Assistant General Manager, Deputy General Manager, General Manager, and finally, Chief General Manager. Promotions are determined by the bank using performance, experience, and other standards. The pay, perks, and responsibilities all rise with each promotion.
The pay scale for IBPS RRB Scale 2 is subject to change over time and is contingent upon the posting location. Nonetheless, the base salary for IBPS RRB Scale 2 officers is between INR 33,000 and INR 39,000 per month. In addition, officers are entitled to a number of benefits and allowances, including medical benefits, DA, HRA, and others.
The IBPS RRB recruitment process for different posts is different. Selection for the post of Officers Scale I, II, and III is done on the basis of prelims, mains & single level exams, and interviews. For the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose), the selection is done on the basis of the mains exam. Selected candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria of the participating banks. Allotment of candidates is done in any one of the 43 participating banks.
