Studying regularly is one thing while studying smartly is another. Enlisted below are tips and tricks that can ensure smooth preparation for IILET 2024.

Always have a plan: A well-thought-out plan needs to be chalked out before starting with the preparation. Without an organised master plan, it becomes difficult to implement. Consider the timings, subjects and comfort and come up with a plan of action.

Identify the syllabus: It is very crucial to differentiate between the areas that require more scope of improvement from the ones that require less attention.

Underline your weaknesses and strengths: Strategise the plan in a manner that plays to your strengths and work on your weaknesses. Divide time in a manner that helps you in bringing out the best of your abilities.

Do not overstudy: Excess of everything is bad! Studying too much can leave the brain restless and exhaust it to the limit that grasping more information becomes difficult.

Decide the Break Time: Taking small breaks now and then is a good trick to keep your brain refreshed. Utilise the time by doing something you enjoy. It helps the memory in understanding the concepts better.

Practice: Practice is the key to success. Devote time to solving papers, reading, writing and watching informative resources. The more you practice the better is the result.

Time Management: IILET is a 2 hour long exam with negative marking. Students are required to be really quick and accurate at the same time. Solve previous year’s question papers, mock tests and practice papers. It increases speed and also helps you understand the structure of the exam. Doing so lends an idea of how much time needs to be devoted to each question and subject.

Revision: It is the most underrated yet most effective step. Students who give time to revision get a better score in the end. Re-visiting the syllabus or important topics helps the brain in remembering concepts for a long time.

Never Compromise on Sleep: Sleep is an essential requirement of the body and it needs to be fulfilled or else the head becomes heavy. Never overwork or deprive yourself of sleep. It provides peace and increases concentration which helps in preparing better.

Balanced Diet: Try avoiding junk and oily food. Take a balanced diet with lots of water. It helps in increasing oxygen in the brain which in return lends focus to the candidate.
