JCECE 2025 BSc Agriculture Counselling Process

JCECE Counselling 2025 will be conducted after the JCECE Result 2025 is released. JCECE Result 2025 is expected to be released in May 2025 on the official website of JCECEB, which is jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. A category-wise merit list based on the student's marks is also released along with the result. 

Counselling will be conducted online for students. A student's merit rank in the entrance examination will determine their call for counselling. 

The JCECE Counselling 2025 is organised in 3 rounds for qualified students. During counselling, students must register on the online portal and fill in their choices for colleges. Based on their preferences, JCECE scores, category, and available seats, they will receive a seat assignment. As seats become available, they will be allocated by the student's choices. 

Those who get a seat can download their provisional seat allotment letter from the portal and must report to the assigned college with all required documents for verification and admission.

Students need to pay the counselling fee of INR 400 using RTGS or a debit/credit card. The counselling fee for SC/ST/Female categories is INR 250.

JCECE B.Sc Agriculture Detailed Counselling Procedure 2025

The candidates enlisted in the Merit List are advised to carefully read the Counselling Information Bulletin that will be published by JCECE Board. It will guide them with the course of action to be taken by them for appearing in the counselling process. All the information regarding date, time, place and mode of counselling will be notified through the leading daily news papers of Jharkhand State as well as the Board's website. Counselling will be conducted in two Rounds

1st Round of Counselling:

• After publication of the result, successful candidates will be called for counselling as per their merit rank. 

2nd Round of Counselling: 

• If seats are vacant after admission of recommended candidates even after the first round of counselling, a second round of counselling will be held.
• In this counselling, the candidates who had been admitted through 1st round of counselling may also participate to change their course and/or Institute.

Important directions and information for counselling/admission 

• The Head of Institutes won't consider change requests after admission ends.
• Counselling Fee: General/EWS/BC-I/BC-II candidates pay ₹400 (₹250 for SC/ST/Female). Payment methods and details will be in counselling ads.
• The controller of the Examination's decisions are final.
• Stay updated on the Board's website.
• Govt./Board can make rule changes, notified through newspapers/website.
• Candidates must bring ONLINE ADMIT CARD for counselling/admission.
• False identity will lead to cancellation and legal action.
• Debarment until court decision for legal issues.
• Disputes settled in Jharkhand High Court/Ranchi Civil Court.
• Controller of Examination is the legal authority.
• Required documents for counselling/admission: originals and self-attested copies.
• Admission depends on document verification and identity confirmation.

Documents Required for JCECE B.Sc Agriculture 2025 Counselling

Candidates for the JCECE 2025 BSc Agriculture counselling interview must bring all required documents (original and Xerox copies). The following is a list of documents needed for JCECE 2025 BSc Agriculture Counselling.

• Matric/10th/Equivalent Exam: Admit Card, Marks Sheet, Passing Certificate (Original/Provisional).
• I.Sc./10+2/Higher Secondary/Inter (Agriculture)/PC Forestry/Equivalent Exam: Admit Card, Marks Sheet, Passing Certificate (Original/Provisional).
• Local Resident Certificate issued by Jharkhand authorities.
• Caste Certificate issued by Jharkhand authorities (for reservation benefit).
• Income & Assets Certificate issued by Jharkhand authorities.
• One passport-size photograph (same as uploaded during application).
• Admit Card of J.C.E.C.E. (For Agriculture and other allied courses) – 2025 (F.I.R. copy if lost). Note: Only F.I.R. copy accepted for lost Admit Cards. 
• Disability Certificate issued by Medical Board (counter-signed by Medical Superintendent/CMO/Head of Hospital).

• If students take part in later rounds of counselling and do not show the required documents initially, students can only choose from the remaining available seats, branches, or institutes.
• After you receive your seat allocation, we will thoroughly check your original documents and identity. 
• If students are found with false, improper, or duplicate certificates, students could face legal consequences.
• The seat allocation depends on the marks you scored in JCECE. Being on the merit list for counselling does not guarantee admission.
• The Board will regularly update and post information about vacant seats on its website during the JCECE counselling process.
