KLEE Selection Process 2024

KLEE 2024 selection process shortlists candidates for the offered courses - 5-year and 3-year LLB. In the first stage, aspirants have to apply for the entrance examination and accordingly appear for the same as per the specified dates. 

In the subsequent step, those who pass Kerala LLB 2024 will be eligible for the counselling process via which they will obtain seat allotment. The allocation to the courses/ colleges will be done via the KLEE Centralised Allotment Process (CAP).

Once the KLEE application form is launched, aspirants must complete the same within the deadline. After qualifying the written test, aspirants who make it to the rank and category lists will be able to apply for the KLEE counselling process. 

Admission to the law courses via KLEE 2024 will be based on the rank secured, inclusion in merit lists/ category lists, and fulfilment of the eligibility criteria. Below is the step-by-step process for KLEE 2024 selection -

KLEE 2024 Application Process

To begin with, candidates have to visit the official website and find the link named “Three-year LLB programme / Five-year LLB programme - Online Application”. Before beginning to fill out the KLEE application form, candidates have to register themselves. The registered applicants can then start filling in the details and completing the online application. 

The KLEE application process is conducted online only. After entering the particulars of the form, candidates have to pay the application fee. After fee payment, aspirants have to upload the required documents and images and finally take a printout of the acknowledgement page for future reference.

KLEE 2024 Results

The conducting authority will release the KLEE results within a few days after the test is held. The result is issued in the form of a rank list, which is created based on the total marks obtained by the students in KLEE. A separate category-wise list/ merit list is also published by CEE Kerala for candidates with Community reservations, Persons with Disabilities, Special reservations, EWS reservations etc. 

Aspirants will have the chance to verify the merit list/ category list and check if their placement in the list under different reservation categories is accurate or not. If they have any objections regarding the same, they can raise their complaints within the deadline. The final category list will be announced after the concerns raised are considered.

To figure in the KLEE rank list, the qualifying mark needed for a General/ SEBC category aspirant is 10% of the total marks (360), while candidates from the SC/ ST category have to achieve a minimum of 5% of the total marks (360) in the admission test.

KLEE 2024 Counselling Process

The KLEE counselling process is typically conducted across 2 to 3 rounds. Aspirants who are on the rank list and the category-wise list are eligible to exercise their options for colleges. Online options can be submitted by logging in to the “Candidate Portal” with the help of the required credentials. 

Once inside the portal, aspirants will get the “Option Registration” tab via which they have to complete the choice filling. They have to pay the required fees for the option registration and save and submit the choices.

KLEE 2024 Seat Allotment 

KLEE seat allotment is done based on the registered options, the merit of the candidates, and the reservation policies. Candidates have to log in to their account to access the allotment memo, which will notify them of the course/ college allotted and the fee to be paid to confirm their admission.

Reporting and Admission Fee Payment

Aspirants who are allotted seats have to report to the assigned college and get their documents verified. After verification, to confirm their admission to the allotted college, aspirants have to pay the prescribed tuition fees within the stipulated time.
