KSET 2024 Exam - Exam Date, Answer Key, Results Date, Cutoffs

The KSET 2024 exam was conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority on November 24, 2024. The KSET 2024 answer key (provisional) was made available on November 24, 2024, on the official website @cetonline.karnataka.gov.in after the exam was conducted. The answer key objection window was also made accessible on November 24 and will be closed on November 29, 2024. Candidates will be allowed to pay the processing fee, ₹100/—for each objection, till November 30, 2024, up to 5 pm. The KSET admit card 2024 was released on November 15, 2024. The deadline for KSET 2024 registration was extended to September 2, 2024. The last date for application fee submission was September 3, 2024. Earlier, the last date to register for the exam and fee submission was August 22 and August 26, 2024, respectively. The KSET 2024 notification was released on July 13, 2024, and the KSET application process 2024 began on July 30, 2024.

KSET Exam 2024 had two papers that were conducted in two shifts, from 10 am to 11 am for Paper 1 and 12 pm to 2 pm for Paper 2. There were 50 questions in Paper 1 totalling 100 marks, while 100 objective-type compulsory questions were asked in Paper 2 with a total marks of 200. The Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) is an eligibility test conducted by the University of Mysore to determine the eligibility of candidates for the position of Assistant Professor. Candidates must fit into the KSET 2024 Eligibility Criteria given below in order to appear for the KSET 2024 exam. 

• Education Qualifications: Must be enrolled in Post Graduation course or the candidates must have completed a master's degree. 
• 55% without rounding off- Candidates from the General category must have scored 55% in Master's Degree and Candidates from the reserved category must score a minimum 50% in Post Graduation. 
• Relevant Subject- Candidates must appear for a similar subject as chosen in Post Graduation.

• From the home page of the website, click on the link "KSET 2024 admit card download". 
• Enter your login credentials
• KSET admit card will be displayed on your screen
• Download PDF and take a printout for future use.

• Stages of KSET 2024: KSET 2024 exam will be conducted in two stages. Stage 1 of the examination will consist of two papers, Paper I and II and Stage 2 consists of the KSET 2024 Merit List.

 Paper I and Paper II will be conducted in Pen and Paper mode. 

• Total Marks: The total mark for KSET 2024 Paper I is 100 and Paper II is 200.
• Marking Scheme: Two marks will be awarded for each correct answer and there is no negative marking in KSET 2024 examination.

• Merit List: Names of the selected candidates will be mentioned in the KSET 2024 Merit List.

1) Written Examination: The dates for the first step of KSET selection process has still not been declared by the exam conducting body. The KSET written examination consists of two papers, Paper I and II (Both Compulsory). 

Paper I of the written examination consists of the topics related to Research Aptitude and General Teaching, whereas paper II is a subject-based paper. 

2) KSET 2024 Merit List: After Paper I and II are conducted by the exam committee, candidates will have to wait for the release of final merit list of KSET 2024 exam. Names of the selected candidates who scored more than or equal to the KSET Cutoff 2024 will appear on the KSET merit list
