AP EAMCET 2024 Exam Pattern

AP EAMCET Exam Pattern 2024 has been released by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada along with the official brochure. Comprehending the exam pattern of AP EAMCET 2024 should be the first step in order to create a proper AP EAMCET 2024 study plan and timetable. As per the exam pattern of AP EAMCET 2024, the EAMCET 2024 exam will be conducted as a computer based test for a total time duration of 3 hours. AP EAMCET 2024 Exam Pattern for Engineering Stream

The exam pattern for the engineering stream of AP EAMCET 2024 is as follows -

  • The total time duration of the exam is 3 hours

  • AP EAMCET will be conducted in an online (Computer Based) mode

  • The entrance exam will have multiple types of questions, wherein candidates will have to choose one correct answer from the four alternative options

  • The question paper will consist of 160 questions in total

  • The question paper will be held in English and Telugu language only

  • AP EAMCET will have 80 questions from Mathematics, 40 questions from Physics and 40 questions from Chemistry

AP EAMCET Marking Scheme 2024

  • For each correct response, 1 mark will be awarded to the candidates.

  • Negative marking is not applicable in the entrance exam.

  • Marking of two options will be considered as inaccurate.

  • No marks will be given for not attempting a question or leaving it blank.

AP EAMCET Online Test Instructions

Materials to be brought to the examination centre
  • AP EAMCET 2024 Admit Card
  • AP EAMCET 2024 Application Form
  • Ball Point Pen
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)

Reporting at the AP EAMCET 2024 Exam Centre

  • Firstly, the candidates are advised to reach the exam centre 2 hours prior to the exam to familiarize themselves with the online examination process. You will not be allowed to enter the Examination Centre after the commencement of the examination
  • Refrain from carrying any textual material, Calculators, DocuPen, Slide Rules, Log Tables, Electronic Watches with facilities of calculator, printed or written material, bits of papers, mobile phone, pager or any other device as it might lead to the cancellation of your candidature
  • The authorities will take biometric fingerprints and photographs of candidates.
  • You will be guided to your respective computer.

Login

  • You can see your details and photographs on the computer screen.
  • Ten minutes before the commencement of the exam, you will have to log in by entering your Hall Ticket number.
  • The password to log in will be intimated by the invigilators.
  • Click on Sign In’ button after entering the username and password

Reading Instructions

  • The instructions will be displayed on the screen.
  • After reading the instructions, click on ‘Next’
  • Exam specific instructions will be displayed
  • Click on the disclaimer box
  • Finally, click on ‘I am ready to Log in’.

Online Exam

  • The online exam will commence now
  • You can select any section that you want to answer (Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry)
  • Question from the respective section will be displayed on the screen.
  • Select the right answer from the four options available by clicking on the circle.
  • In order to save your answer, you will have to click on ‘Save and Next
  • Once the exam duration is over, your answers will be submitted automatically.
  • Exam summary will be displayed, and you will have to click on the ‘Yes’.

Dear Student,

As per the AP EAMCET rules, you cannot retain your previous phase allotment seat. There will be a Spot Round (institute level counseling round) after the final phase of AP EAMCET seat allotment where you can apply for a seat. As an alternate option, you can also apply for Management quota admission which is ongoing.

However, you don't need to worry as you will get a seat through the final phase of AP EAMCET counseling. However, it might be possible that you will be allotted colleges that accept low rank in AP EAMCET through the final phase.
