Odisha B.Ed entrance exam 2024 application form closed on June 10, 2024, by 11.45 PM. Candidates who completed the online Common Application Form (CAF) within the deadline could appear for the test today, July 28, 2024.

How to Apply for Odisha B.Ed Entrance Exam 2024?

Before beginning the application process, candidates must ensure they have the required documents with them, including the photograph and signature for uploading. Applicants can tap the "Save as Draft" button to save the information they filled in. Once the candidates confirm the data, they cannot change the details.

Existing Student Login

• Candidates who have accomplished their registration for the Odisha B.Ed entrance exam 2024 must click the Existing Login tab. 
• They will be redirected to the Student’s Login page, where they have to type their mobile number, password, and captcha to log in or sign in to the system.

New Student Registration

• For new user registration, candidates have to sign up first and then begin the application. An active cell phone number and email ID are mandatory for this step.
• The applicants have to press down the New Student Registration link and then their name, mobile number, email ID, and Birth Date. 
• They have to hit the “Generate OTP” button, and the system will send the OTP to the mobile number provided for activation. 
• Please note the mobile number must not be used for multiple applications. 
• Additionally, candidates can also give the mobile numbers of someone from their family for registration.
• The verification code obtained on the mobile number and their email is sent to validate the authenticity of the mobile number and the email ID and if they are in use.
• If the candidates do not receive the OTP within 5 minutes, then they can use the resend option to get the OTP.
• Once the applicants get the Verification Code, they have to input the code, create a new password, retype it, and click submit.
• Once done, they will notice a message in the registered mobile number, citing that the registration has been successfully concluded.
• If the candidates forget the password to log in, they can utilise the Forgot Password window. 
• They will need to write the mobile number and the email and hit Generate OTP, and follow the instructions to generate another password.

Filling of CAF Information

Applicants will land up on the dashboard after signing in successfully with their credentials. The menus on the left flank of the dashboard will list the activities needed to execute the application process and the event's end date.

Aspirants must check out the last dates and ensure they wrap up well ahead of time.

Application Form

• To commence the application, candidates must make use of the “Application Form” page available in the menu. 
• They will then have to pick up the offered programmes from the drop-down menu and click yes if they have read the information brochure.
• After that, the aspirants have to fill in the personal details such as Applicant’s Type, Name, Mother’s Name, Father’s Name, Gender, Email, Cell number, Date of Birth, Social Category, Special Reservation Category, Test Centre District, present and permanent address, Odia Qualification, Stream name, Educational Qualification, Bank Details, etc.
• The candidates must type the account number, name of the account holder Name, IFSC code, Branch Name, Bank Name, MICR Code, etc.
• For the candidates who have furnished the particulars, they can do the final submission of the form.

Upload Photograph and Signature

• Post form submission and confirmation of the application, the applicants are navigated to the “Upload Photo and Signature” section.
• They will have to post their scanned original photographs and digital signatures to the allotted area of the form.
• The scanned photo and signature must be in jpg, jpeg, or png format and within 500 kb.

Fees Payment

• Candidates have to make the payment in the subsequent phase.
• After loading the documents, they will be directed to the payment gateway.
• They need to opt for their chosen gateway and make the payment.
• The application procedure is entirely finalised once the applicants make the payment.

Check Payment Status

Candidates can check the payment status to ensure they paid the fee successfully. On clicking Payment Status, the applicants will get the aspirant’s data, the paid amount, and the status.

Print the CAF

• After executing the payment, the candidates will be navigated to the Print CAF webpage. 
• They can download the application form and take the print of it for future reference and any need at the time of admission.

Odisha BEd Eligibility Criteria 2024

• Aspirants must have secured a 50% marks minimum (45% marks for SEBC/ SC/ ST/ PwD applicants) in aggregate in the Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Sciences or Social Sciences or Humanities to be eligible for Odisha BEd Application 2024.
• Candidates who have completed a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology (B.Tech.) with Specialization in  Mathematics and Science as per the AICTE Syllabus must have obtained 55% marks minimum. For SEBC/ SC/ ST/ PwD aspirants, the lowest mark is 50% in aggregate.
• Candidates in the final year of their last qualifying examination are also qualified to apply.
• Aspirants must have passed Odia as MIL till the HSC level or similar examination.
• For General category applicants, the age limit is 28 years as of June 30, 2024. For SC, ST, SEBC Candidates and women applicants of all categories (UR, SC, ST, SEBC), the age restriction is 33 years. For PH applicants, the highest age for Odisha BEd Application 2024 is 38 years.
