If you are planning to appear for the OPSC OCS 2024-25 exam, you can easily fill out the application form on the official website. Follow these simple steps to complete your OPSC exam registration:

• Visit the Official Website: Go to the OPSC website to begin the application process.
• Find the Registration Link: On the homepage, look for the ‘Registration Link’ and click on it.
• Start Your Application: Select the ‘Apply Online’ button to proceed.
• Check Available Posts: There are now advertised posts for recruitment that will appear on your screen.
• New Applicants: When applying for the first time and having no PPSAN/ User ID, a new user application is activated on the website through the click on the tab that says New User.
• For Registered Users: If one has already registered and needs to reapply again, then press the 'Registered User' button.
• Fill out the Form: A new user and an existing one will be routed to the proper registration page respectively. Fill out the form accordingly.

OPSC Registration 2024: Document Specifications

Before submitting the OPSC OCS 2024 application, one needs to pay an examination fee of INR 500/-. The payment can only be done through online options like net banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI. Educational Qualification

• You must have studied Odia as a subject or language up to Middle school.
• Appeared in High School Certificate or equivalent examination in a subject in which the medium of instruction is Odia.
• Passed Odia as a language subject in the final examination of Class 8 from a recognized school or educational institution.

Age Limit 

Your age must be between 21 and 38 years as of January 1, 2024. This means you should be born no earlier than January 2, 1986, and no later than January 1, 2003. Age relaxations for reserved categories are applicable as per government regulations:

If you have already applied for OPSC OCS 2024 Recruitment, then the very next important step would be the exam pattern. The three major stages involved in the process are Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam, and Interview. These phases are segregated as follows:

OPSC OCS Preliminary Exam Pattern

It is a screening test. It contains multiple-choice questions.

• It is conducted in two papers, i.e., Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both of these papers consist of two hours.
• Paper 2 is only qualifying in nature, so if you score above 33% you can qualify for Mains.
• Negative marking will be applicable there also, and for each wrong answer, one-third of the total marks will be deducted.

OPSC OCS Mains Exam Pattern

The Mains Exam is a written exam divided into two parts.

• Part 1 comprises Language papers in Odia and English. However, these scores do not count for the final ranking.
• Part 2 comprises Papers I to VII. Your ranking will be based on the scores obtained through these papers.
• Each of the papers from Part 2 can be attempted within three hours.

OPSC OCS Interview

The commission will call you for a personality test (interview) when you pass the Mains exam. This last step evaluates your decision-making abilities, communication skills, and general fit for the position.

If you are appearing for the OPSC OCS 2024 exam, you would have to go through a three-stage selection process to get a position in Group A or B posts. The selection process includes:

• Screening Test (Preliminary Examination)

• Group A Posts: INR 56,100 per month
• Group B Posts: INR 44,900 per month

The two salary packages are the Pay Level 12 and, Cell-1 pay levels in the actual Pay Matrix.
