TNPSC requires the candidates to fulfil certain eligibility criteria in order to be eligible for the TNPSC Combined Engineering Services Exam 2022.   • No maximum upper age limit means that the candidates must not have completed 60 years of age at the time of appointment or selection.
  •  Persons with Benchmark Disability have an age concession of up to 10 years to the abovementioned.
  • The maximum age limit for ex-servicemen of all categories is 50 years.

Degree in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering (OR) Post Diploma in Automobile Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu (OR) Licentiate in Automobile Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

(AND)

Experience in the administration of an office and the management of workshops connected with the maintenance and upkeep of Motor Vehicles for a period of not less than five years.

Degree in Electrical Engineering.

B.E. – Agriculture/ B. Tech - Agricultural Engineering/ B.Sc. - Agricultural Engineering

To be eligible for TNPSC Combined Engineering Services Exam 2022, the candidate must have adequate knowledge of Tamil Language with a higher level of proficiency.

Physical Fitness Required for TNPSC CES 2022

For the TNPSC Combined Engineering Services Exam 2022, the candidates must be fit in terms of vision ability. The standard of vision fitness required is specified in the table below. For the post of Assistant Director of Industrial Safety and Health, night blindness will lead to disqualification. Similarly, for all other posts, colour blindness will lead to disqualification.
