The diploma holders aspiring for 2nd-year admission into the Engineering & Technology programmes have to fulfil the following eligibility rules -
Diploma holders from any AICTE recognized institute (Engineering & Technology) can apply
The applicants must have secured at least 45% (40% for reserved category) or equivalent CGPA in their respective diploma exams
Marine Engineering aspirants have to comply with the D.G Shipping eligibility conditions
Aspirants with a B.Sc degree from any reputed university must fulfil the following eligibility conditions -
The applicants must have a B.Sc degree from any UGC recognized University
The applicants must have secured at least 45% (40% for reserved category) or equivalent CGPA in their respective qualifying degree exams
Applicants must have studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject at the 10+2 level
After admission, the candidates have to obtain a passing aggregate in all the second year B.Tech subjects along with the 1st year B.Tech subjects like Engineering Drawing/Engineering Mechanics and Engineering Graphics

The Pharmacy Diploma holders who wish to apply for 2nd-year B.Pharmacy admission through WB JELET have to fulfil the following eligibility criteria -
The applicants must have a Pharmacy Diploma from any Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) approved institute
The applicants must have secured at least 45% (40% for reserved category) or equivalent CGPA in their respective qualifying degree exams
In a situation where all the 2nd-year B.Pharmacy seats are exhausted, such candidates are also eligible for 1st-year B.Pharmacy admission provided there are vacancies
For lateral entry in Engineering and Technology admission at Jadavpur University through WB JELET, the applicants must fulfil the following eligibility criteria -
