About ULSAT 2025 Application Form (Phase 1 Open)

ULSAT Application Form 2025: The UPES Dehradun has released the ULSAT application form 2025 for phase 1 at upes.ac.in. They can complete the form submission by April 28, 2025. The exam dates are May 2, 3, and 4, 2025.

Students interested in joining the university for the offered law courses are advised to check the eligibility criteria for the application process. After the form is issued, the applicants have to complete the registration form. On successful registration, they will receive an email with the login credentials. Online Registration

• Visit the official website of the university, i.e. www.upes.ac.in.
• Click on the link displaying 'Application Form’.
• Enter Name, Programme of study, Date of Birth, E-mail, Mobile Number, and Correspondence address.
• After entering the details, click on the 'Submit' tab.
• Enter login details – E-mail ID and Password – received on registered E-mail ID and Mobile number.
• Now, fill out the application form by including the parents’ names and educational qualifications.
• Upload the Photograph and Signature in the prescribed format and click on the 'Submit' button.
• The next step involves application fee payment. Make online payment for the prescribed amount and keep a print of payment acknowledgement for future reference.

Offline Registration

• For offline registration, candidates need to purchase the application form from the designated counters via Demand Draft or cash payment.

ULSAT 2025 Application Form: Important Points

The candidates appearing for the ULSAT 2025 examination should keep in mind the following points:

• UPES conducts the ULSAT examination every year for admission to the 5-year LL.B and LL.M courses. Apart from the ULSAT exam, candidates can also seek admission through CLAT scores and Class 12 board examination marks.
• A common application will be conducted for admission through CLAT and ULSAT.
• Candidates are advised to keep scanned copies of their Photograph and Signature ready in the specified format before starting with the application process.
• The application form will be released by UPES Dehradun in online mode on its official website.
• The ULSAT 2025 application fee can be paid by both online and offline mode through credit/ debit card, net banking and demand draft.
• The ULSAT 2025 application form must be filled up correctly and for future reference, a printout must be taken out.
• The final admission will be based on the personal interview round.

ULSAT 2025 Application Form: Different Ways of Admission

The candidates can take admission into the law courses in UPES in three ways, they are:

• ULSAT 2025
• CLAT Scores
• Class 12 Board Marks

Candidates need to satisfy certain eligibility criteria to apply via any one of the following ways.

1. Based on the ULSAT exam

• For LL.B - Minimum 50% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level exams (10th & 12th).
• For LL.M - Minimum 50% marks at Higher and Senior Secondary level exams (10th & 12th) and Minimum 50%marks in Graduation with LL.B Degree or equivalent.

2. Based on CLAT scores

For BA LLB (Hons) / BBA LLB (Hons) / BCom LLB (Hons)

• 50% Marks in Higher & Senior Secondary (10th & 12th)
• CLAT AIR ranking up to 15000 / LSAT India Percentile of 60 percentile or above.

For BTech LLB (Hons) 

• 50% marks in classes 10 and 12(Physics, Chemistry & Maths).
• CLAT AIR ranking up to 15000 / LSAT India score of 60 percentile or above.

For LLM

• Minimum 50% marks at Higher and Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th) and Minimum 50%marks in Graduation with LLB Degree or equivalent.
• Valid CLAT PG rank

3. Based on Class 12 Board examination marks

Candidates with 80% marks in 10th and 12th main five subjects (English as one of the compulsory Subjects) are exempted from ULSAT.
