Course Wise UoH Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria 2022

Name of Course

Eligibility Criteria 

M.Tech Microelectronics & VLSI Design

Applicants with a 60% aggregate in B.E/B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering/Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering/Electronics Engineering from any recognized university can apply

MBA (Business Analytics/Health Care & Hospital Management)

Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with a minimum aggregate of 60% from any recognized university can apply

M.A (Economics/Financial Economics)

Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minimum aggregate of 50% and 50% marks in Economics OR

Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and at least 60% marks in any subject like Commerce, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or any of the Social Sciences subjects like History, Political Science, Sociology, Anthropology can apply

M.A Education

Applicants with a B.Ed, B.A. B.Ed./ B.Sc. B.Ed, B.El. Ed. or D.El. Ed. degree with 50% aggregate and an undergraduate degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% can apply

M.A Political Science

Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in Humanities/Social Sciences subjects with at least 50% aggregate OR

Applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 55% aggregate can apply

M.A History

Applicants must have - 

  • 50% aggregate in Bachelor’s degree and 50% marks in History OR

  • 50% aggregate in Bachelor’s degree and 55% marks in Political Science, Public Administration, Economics, Sociology, Anthropology, Indology, Archaeology, Ancient Indian History and Culture OR

  • 60% aggregate in Bachelor’s degree (in any discipline)

M.A Hindi

Applicants must have - 

  • 40% aggregate in Bachelor’s degree and they must have studied Hindi as one of the optional subjects/compulsory subjects/or second language OR

  • 40% aggregate in Bachelor’s degree and they must have a Post Graduate Diploma in Hindi or Translation studies in Hindi (PGDTS)/Functional Hindi OR

  • 40% aggregate in Bachelor’s degree and an oriental title examination of B.A. standard approved by the Government of India or any State Government, like ‘Praveen’ and ‘Sahitya Ratna’ or any other title recognized thereof

M.A English

Applicants must have - 

  • 50% aggregate in Bachelor’s degree and 50% marks in English (optional subject) OR

  • 50% aggregate in Bachelor’s degree and 55% marks in English (compulsory subject)

M.Sc 

Applicants with a B.Sc degree from any recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 55% to 60% who have studied any relevant subject (relevant to the M.Sc course they are applying for) can apply for various M.Sc programmes offered through the UoH entrance exam

Hi there, yes you can pursue MA in English without having studied English literature at graduation level. However, you should have studied English in school though. The eligibility for MA English at LPU is 50 percent marks in graduation or equivalent in any discipline. Hope this is self explanatory. Good Luck
