UPSC CMS 2025 Selection Process

UPSC UPSC CMS 2025 selection process will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) after the final result is released for the Personality Test. The DAF (Detailed Application Form) for the Personality Test was released on August 14 and the last date to fill up the same was August 23, 2025. The UPSC CMS 2025 Result will be released by the exam authorities after the exam will be conducted. The eligible candidates can participate in the UPSC CMS 2025 selection process. The selection process for UPSC CMS 2025 will be based on the candidates’ performance in both the Computer-Based Test and Personality Test of the UPSC CMS 2025 entrance examination. 

Candidates who qualify for the UPSC CMS 2025 Computer-Based Test with the minimum requisite UPSC CMS 2025 cutoff scores will be called up for the Personality Test, which will be conducted for 100 marks. Candidates who fare well in the personality test and make it to the cutoff rank will have a better chance of being selected for the service. Only those candidates who will convince the conducting authorities of their intellect, the balance of judgment, leadership, alertness capability, and prowess will be selected.

UPSC CMSE 2025 Computer-Based Test

The first step to getting selected for the UPSC CMSE conducted by the UPSC is to clear the Computer-Based Test of UPSC CMSE 2025. All those candidates who qualify the same will be eligible for the second step of the UPSC CMSE 2019 selection process. The candidates will be required to clear the Computer-Based Test with the minimum required cut-off marks, which will be calculated out of 500, to be eligible for the next step of the selection process.

UPSC CMSE 2025 Personality Test

The Computer-Based Test qualified candidates will be called up for the personality test or interview which will be conducted for 100 marks by the UPSC authorities. The authorities will assess the expertise of the candidates in their field of study and general knowledge in addition to certain other things such as social cohesion ability, intellectual curiosity, etc. 

Physical Fitness

Once the candidates get a nod from the interview conducting authorities, they must prove their medical and physical fitness to the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). Following proving their physical and medical fitness, the candidates will receive a confirmation from the authorities regarding their selection in the UPSC CMS. The whole recruitment process takes one year.
