The WB JEMAT 2024 eligibility criteria are prescribed by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology . WB JEMAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria for MBA

Applicants applying for MBA courses through WB JEMAT 2024, must know the WB JEMAT 2024 eligibility criteria for the MBA candidates. Here are the WB JEMAT 2024 eligibility criteria for all the aspects of a candidate. 

Domicile:

  • Applicants of WB JEMAT 2024 must be Indiana.
  • The candidates must belong to West Bengal.

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have a bachelor degree in Technology, Engineering/ Architecture/Pharmacy
  • The graduation degree must be AICTE approved by some recognized university. 
  • The candidates must have either of the following degrees such as B.Tech, B.E, B.Pharma, B. Pharma, or M.Sc degrees. 
  • Degrees obtained from distance institutes will not be considered eligible to appear for this examination 
  • Candidates of the final year will be provided provisional admission. The admission will not be confirmed unless the final certificates or mark sheets are provided. 

Reservation 

  • The reservation for Scheduled castes, Scheduled tribes, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD will be granted as per government rules.
  • The decision taken by JEMAT 2024 will be final in case of any double thoughts or doubts or any such issues.
  • All other colleges affiliated with MAKAUT might have different eligibility criteria for admission. The applicants must know that only qualifying in the JEMAT 2024, does not assure admission of the candidate unless he/she satisfies all other eligibility criteria.

WB JEMAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria for MHA

The  WB JEMAT 2024 eligibility criteria for the applicants of MHA are not much different from that of MBA applicants. There are very minute differences, so the candidates must also know the WB JEMAT 2024 eligibility criteria for MHA applicants.

Domicile:

  • Candidates appearing for WB JEMAT 2024 must be Indians. 
  • The applicant must be a resident of West Bengal. 

Educational Qualification

  • The graduation degree of the applicant must be AICTE approved by some recognized university.
  • The candidates must have pursued a bachelor's in either of the following subjects Pharmacy, Engineering, Architecture, and Technology. 
  • The applicants who have completed a Masters in Science can apply for this examination. 
  • Any degree obtained from any distance college will not be considered by the JEMAT authority.
  • Applicants belonging to the final year of their bachelor's will be given provisional admission. The admission of the candidate would be confirmed only if they can produce a graduation certificate by the deadline mentioned by JEMAT. 

Reservation

  • Scheduled castes, Scheduled tribes, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD will be granted reservation as per government rules.
  • The decision taken by the exam conducting a body of JEMAT 2024 will be final in case of any pending decision or if any such step has to be taken.
  • The participating colleges of MAKAUT might have different eligibility criteria for admission. The candidates must know that only qualifying in the JEMAT 2024, does not assure admission of the candidate unless he satisfies all other eligibility criteria.

Dear Student,

WB JEMAT exam is conducted once a year. The exam is conducted in online mode comprising multiple-choice questions (MCQs). The total duration of the exam is 2 hours and candidates will have to answer the questions by choosing one option from the four options provided. One mark will be provided for each correct answer while 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The three sections of the WB JEMAT exam are Mathematics, General English and Logical Reasoning.
