The XAT syllabus 2025 comprises Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, Verbal & Logical Ability, Decision Making, and General Knowledge. It assesses candidates’ aptitude in mathematical skills, understanding and use of English language, reasoning capabilities, decision-making skills, and their awareness of current affairs and general knowledge, preparing them for management studies and careers.

XAT 2025 GK Syllabus

The XAT 2025 GK syllabus includes a wide array of topics like Business, finance, and economics, the Indian Constitution and laws, famous personalities, and current affairs of national and international importance. XLRI Jamshedpur will conduct the XAT 2025 exam on January 5, 2025, as a computer-based test in a single 3-hour 30-minute session. The exam is divided into two parts, comprising a total of 101 questions, including 25 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) in the General Knowledge (GK) section, which do not have negative marking. The GK section includes 10 questions on Static GK and 15 questions on Current Affairs. While GK scores are not considered for percentile calculation, they are crucial in the final selection process for XLRI admission. XAT 2025 GK Syllabus- Section Wise Topics

The General Knowledge section of the XAT exam is relatively easier compared to other sections and does not actively contribute to the percentile calculation. The questions will cover topics such as History, Geography, Economy & Business, Current Affairs, Personalities & Awards, and Science & Technology. Since this section is memory-based, candidates can prepare for it in the final month before the exam by memorizing key dates, events, names, and similar information. The General Knowledge (GK) section for XAT 2025 along with the other three, is crucial for both the XAT online test and the XLRI admission process. After completing Part-1 of the XAT exam, there is a 5-minute break before starting Part-2, which contains the GK section. The entire exam, including GK, must be completed within the 3 hours and 30 minutes allotted. While a separate score is given for the GK section, it does not affect the percentile calculation.
