Candidates who obtained a bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognized university or institute over a duration of 3 years are eligible for the XAT 2025 exam. Students in the final year of their bachelor’s degree programme who will complete their final examination by June 10, 2025, are also eligible to appear for the XAT 2025 exam. However, they have to submit the proof of completing their degree within the stipulated time (if selected).
The XAT admit card 2025 will be released most likely by the last week of December 2025. Candidates must log in to the XAT official website with the User ID and password to download the XAT admit card 2025.
The XAT 2025 marking scheme is as follows:
- +1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer.
- There will be a deduction of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
- If there are more than 8 consecutive unattempted questions, it will incur a penalty of 0.10 marks.
- There is no negative marking in the General Knowledge section.
After the XAT result 2025 is released by XLRI in the form of a scorecard, candidates obtaining the XAT cutoff will be shortlisted for further selection rounds like the Group Discussion and Interview. XAT scores, performance in GD and interview, work experience, academic background, etc. will determine the final selection of the candidates.
