Step-wise AP EAMCET Counselling Process
After qualifying for AP EAMCET, the candidates will have to participate in the counselling process. Complete awareness of the AP EAMCET counselling is mandatory for the AP EAMCET qualifiers so that they do not face any difficulty during the counselling process. The step-by-step procedure for AP EAMCET counselling can be checked below -
Step 1: Registration
APSCHE will create a separate website for AP EAMCET counselling, and the candidates must visit the official website to complete the registration process
For AP EAMCET , qualified candidates must report to any one of the Help Line Centers, according to the prescribed schedule, along with the AP EAMCET counselling fee
The counselling fee of AP EAMCET can be paid only through online mode via Debit card/ Credit card/ NetBanking
Step 2: Verification of Certificates
The next step after registration is the verification of the certificates. Candidates need to submit their certificates and registration-cum-verification-form to the verification officer. It is advisable to verify all the details printed on the receipt of certificates, affix the Signature and collect the same from the Chief Verification Officer. Candidates must remember that the certificates submitted must be correct and in the order prescribed by the concerned authority. The ones not following the prescribed norms will face a delayed process as they will be asked to re-arrange the documents as has been defined. It is also important to submit the right documents as fake or wrong documents might lead to the cancellation of the candidature.
Online Certificate Verification: This year, APSCHE has introduced online certificate verification for AP EAMCET counselling. After the registration for AP EAMCET counselling on its official website, candidates will see a statement that indicates 'Candidate is eligible for exercising options'. Such candidates need not visit the helpline centre for certificate verification. The certificates of these candidates are verified online, and these candidates can directly proceed with web options on the stipulated dates.
Offline Certificate Verification: After registering for AP EAMCET counselling on its official website, the candidates will see a statement that indicates 'Candidate is not eligible for exercising options'. Such candidates will have to visit the nearest helpline centre for document verification. The facility to exercise options will open only after the certificates of concerned candidates are verified by the competent authorities.
Step 3: Choice Filling
Candidates will have to fill in the choice of their courses and colleges according to their preferences after the document verification process is over. To proceed further, candidates will have to enter their choices online by visiting the official website and logging into their accounts. After filling in the preferred choices, candidates will have to lock their filled choices and take a print copy of it for further use. It is important for the candidates to clearly choose and fill in their choices as after the submission of the form no changes shall be entertained or accepted by the concerned authorities. The choices once locked won't be changed.
Step 4: AP EAMCET Seat Allotment
The allotment of the seats will be done by the admission authority of AP EAMCET based on the candidate’s category, merit, gender, local area, special reservation category, etc. For seat allotment purposes, candidates will have to download their allotment by logging into their accounts. The seat allotment will be done after the completion of the rounds of the counselling process. With the completion of each round, a list of allotments will be declared for the candidates. As each AP EAMCET seat allotment list gets declared, a separate list consisting of the total number of seats left, the number of seats occupied and the total number of seats reported will also be declared. A list with the name of the participating institution and the place of the institution will also be released.
Step 5: Reporting at the Allotted Centre
After the seat allotment procedure is over, qualified candidates will have to report to the allotted centre for seat confirmation. It must be noted that if any candidate fails to report at the allotted centre, then his/her seat will be cancelled and he/she will have no claim for further allotment of seats. After the closure of the final report, no candidate will be entertained for claiming the seat.
