How to Apply for AP TET 2024?

The candidates can follow the simple steps mentioned below to fill out the online application form for APTET 2024"

APTET Application Fee Payment: The first step in the registration process of APTET is online application fee payment. The steps to pay the application fee of APTET is as follows:

• Click on the direct link mentioned above or visit the official website.
• The candidates can also visit the nearest AP Online or Mee Seva Centre to pay the application fee. Candidates visiting any of these centres should carry the respective application fee.
• Candidates who wish to pay the APTET fee in online mode should click on the option that indicates Online Payment on the official website.
• Enter the basic details such as Candidate Name, Mobile Number, Date of Birth and Paper Preference.
• Click on ‘Submit’
• Enter the details of your Credit or Debit Card to pay the application fee.
• After the successful payment of APTET application fee, you will receive a Journal Number via SMS on your mobile. You can also take the printout of the fee payment receipt which will have the Journal Number.
• Candidates who pay fees through AP Online or Mee Seva Centre will receive the fee payment receipt which will have the Journal Number.

Uploading Photograph and Signature:

• After the successful fee payment, the candidates can click on the option that indicates ‘Submit Application’ on the official website.
• Enter the Journal Number and Date of Birth to proceed with the uploading of the photograph and signature.
• Once you sign in, you can upload the scanned copy of the Photograph and Signature.
• The candidates should only upload a coloured photograph of passport size.
• The candidates should sign on white paper with a Black Ball Point Pen, scan the same and upload it.
• After selecting the scanned copies of the Photograph and Signature, click on ‘Upload’.
• Now, your photograph and signature are directly uploaded on APTET application form 2024.

APTET Form Fill-Up

• After the successful upload of the Photograph and Signature, you will see the application form on the screen.
• Fill in all the details in the respective columns carefully. The candidates must note that the details in the application form can’t be edited once submitted.
• Aadhaar Number is mandatory to fill out the application form of APTET. If the candidates do not have an Aadhaar card, he/ she can enter the Aadhaar Enrollment Number or another other ID number issued by the Government.
• After filling in all the details in the APTET application form, click on ‘Preview’
• Whatever details you have entered in the application form will be displayed on the screen.
• If all the details entered by you are correct, click on ‘Submit’. If you want to make changes before the final submission, click on ‘Edit’.
• After submitting the application form, you can take the printout of the same.
• The printout of the application form will have a Reference ID which can be used to select the exam centre, book the slot for the exam, download the hall ticket and check the result.
• The candidates are advised to preserve the printout of the application form for future reference.

APTET 2024 Paper 1 Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates must have passed class 12th or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidate) and must have completed a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education / 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) / 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR

• The candidates must have passed class 12th or equivalent with at least 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/ BC/ Differently Abled candidate) and must have completed a Diploma in Elementary Education / Bachelor of Elementary Education. (B.El.Ed.) / Diploma in Education (Special Education).

APTET 2024 Paper 2 Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must have passed B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. with 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled candidates) along with B.Ed./ (B.Ed -Special Education).

OR

• The candidates must have passed graduation with the concerned language as one of the Optional Subjects /Graduation in Literature / Bachelor of Oriental Language (or its equivalent) / Post Graduation in Language concerned and Language Pandit Training Certificate/ B.Ed. with concerned language as one of the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers.

APTET 2024 exam will be conducted in all the major cities and towns across Andhra Pradesh such as Vijayawada, Guntur, Nellore, Bhimavaram, Rajahmundry, Ongole, Chittor, Ananthapur etc. Candidates will have the option to choose the test centre and book a slot for the exam. There is series of steps which a candidate need to perform before downloading the APTET admit card 2024. The minimum marks required to clear the APTET 2024 will be defined as the APTET cutoff 2023. In every exam, a minimum standard to qualify is prescribed by the conducting authority. Same will be followed by the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh for the APTET 2024 exam. As the APTET exam is divided in two phases: First is the written test followed by an interview. Candidates will have to secure at least the cutoff for the written as well as for the interview; and finally a final cutoff combining both the written exam and the interview will be released by the DSE, Andhra Pradesh.

As laid forward by the Andhra Pradesh exam conducting authority in 2022, the candidate will have to score at least 36% in the written examination to be considered for the interview. This is just a basic passing condition prescribed by the DSE. Further, APTET cutoff 2024 may be raised and will depend upon the following factors:

1. Number of candidates appearing for the APTET exam.
2. Difficulty of the APTET exam.
3. Normalisation as per different shifts.
4. Total number of seats.

The Board conducts two papers (Paper-I and Paper-II). Paper, I will be set for those candidates who wish to teach for 1 to 5 classes can apply. While Paper-II will be conducted for those candidates who wish to become a teacher for six to eight classes in Andhra Pradesh Government Schools. An applicant can attend both of the papers (classes one to five and classes six to eight) depending on his/her own eligibility.
