Selection Procedure in ATMA Participating Colleges
Different participating B-Schools will design and conduct the ATMA 2025 selection process and the key rounds. Hence, the number of selection rounds will vary from each other. The ATMA selection process conducted for shortlisting candidates depends on the overall ATMA 2025 result of the candidate. After clearing the ATMA 2025 written exam, candidates have to appear in the pre-admission rounds, which include:
1. Group Discussion: Candidates are required to participate in a Group Discussion along with other candidates on a topic provided by the B-school.
For the ATMA selection procedure, all the shortlisted candidates have to undergo the Group Discussion round. The total number of shortlisted candidates is divided into smaller groups comprising five to seven candidates. Shortlisted candidates are required to conduct a group discussion on the political, social, or economic outlook. In this round of the selection process, the B-Schools evaluate the overall knowledge and communication skills of the candidates along with the following:
- Leadership
- Managerial Skills
- Negotiation Skills
- Personality
- Communication skills
Candidates qualifying in this round become eligible for further rounds of the selection process.
2. Written Ability Test: The WAT round aims at testing the writing skills of the candidates. The competing candidates might have to participate in an essay writing competition.
The Written Ability Test or WAT round evaluates one’s ability to read and write effectively along with the following skills:
- Vocabulary
- Grammar Skills
- Language Skills
- Writing Ability
- Expression
- Clarity of Thought
3. Personal Interview: Candidates are required to appear before the interview panel comprising the B-school's internal selection committee as well as independent experts from different fields.
This round involves a face-to-face interview with the shortlisted candidates, wherein the overall personality of the candidate is judged by the interviewer. In the ATMA selection process, this is the final round of selection for admission to various courses. Candidates must try their level best to qualify in this round. The Personal Interview round involves the evaluation of one’s personality by an interview panel, either individually or as part of a group. In this round, the interview panel assesses the following skills and abilities of the MBA aspirants seeking admission to the B-school:
- Personality
- Confidence
- Communication Skills
- Past Academic Records
Various participating institutions of ATMA start their selection process for the shortlisted candidates who are eligible for admission to their institutes.
