BITSDAT Selection Process Overview

The BITSDAT 2025 Exam will be conducted from March 31, 2025 to April 5, 2025. The last date to apply for the BITS Design Aptitude Test is January 31, 2025. The results of the BITSDAT Exam 2025 will be released on April 14, 2025. The BITSDAT Exam is conducted by BITS Pilani which takes into consideration many factors while selecting students for its BDes Honours programme. The BITS Design School admissions are offered based on merit as well as entrance test scores. Students who manage to clear this round of selection, are then called for a portfolio evaluation and an online interview round. The BITS Design School, Mumbai offers students admission to the BDes Honours programme based on a student’s merit and entrance examination scores. Mentioned below is the entire selection process of the BITSDAT Examination in detail:

• First and foremost, students are required to fill up the BITS BDes application form to stand eligible for admission to their BDes programme.
• As a next step, students will be required to submit the scores they have attained in either of these design entrance examinations - UCEED/ NID DAT/ BITSDAT exams.
• Students will now be shortlisted based on these entrance tests and their merit. Shortlisted students will receive a notification asking them to submit their portfolios for evaluation.
• Students who clear the portfolio evaluation round will be invited for a round of online interviews. Hereon, students who get selected will be offered a seat in the BDes programme at BITS Design School, Mumbai.
