IIAD selection process 2024 is dependent on the main selection rounds for the courses offered at the Indian Institute of Art & Design. According to the conducting body, the selection process is separated for the courses which include: the IIAD Design Aptitude Test (iDAT) followed by a Studio Simulation round for the UG-level courses. While for the Fashion Management courses, candidates are required to appear for the  IIAD Management Aptitude Test (iMAT) and Personal Interview.

It must be noted that the final selection process includes all the selection rounds depending on the course, so students have to qualify for all the rounds. The final merit list will include the shortlisted candidate's names depending on their merit and performance in the selection rounds. Once the final selection is done, students will be called for the counselling and seat allotment rounds. • Communication Design, Fashion Design, Fashion Communication, Interior Architecture and Design courses offered at IIAD require candidates to appear for the written entrance exam.
• After the iDAT exam, candidates will be called for the studio simulation round. 
• It must be noted that the selection for these courses is based on the two rounds of admission.

IIAD Selection Process 2024 for Fashion Management Course

• Selection through two rounds: Candidates will be selected based on the two-step selection rounds- entrance exam and personal interview/studio simulation.
