CUET UG General Test is like a mixed bag of common-sense and basic knowledge questions:
- General Knowledge & Current Affairs
- Numerical Ability
- Logical Reasoning
- General Mental Ability
- Quantitative Reasoning
- Basic English
Not really, but that depends on how well-prepared you are. The questions themselves are basic to moderate in difficulty. You'll be fine if you've been keeping up with current events, practicing basic math, and brushing up on your reasoning and English.
You can skip it, but only if your preferred course or university doesn't ask for it. Not all universities or courses require the General Test score. Before skipping, check the admission requirements of the colleges you’re aiming for. If they don’t need it, you’re good. But if they do, you’ll have to take it.
