CUET Exam Analysis 2024

CUET UG 2024 exam is set to be held on May 29, 2024 for pen and paper and CBT mode of examinations. Registered candidates can download the CUET 2024 admit card online. The CUET UG 2024 exam for all the domain and language subjects have been successfully concluded from Day 1 to Day 7 across all shifts. The CUET UG 2024 exam analysis is provided below. The CUET UG 2024 exam was held in CBT mode on May 21st, 22nd, and 24th, 2024. Earlier, from May 15–May 18, 2024, the CUET 2024 Exam was successfully concluded in hybrid mode. However, the CUET UG 2024 Day 7 exam had been conducted on May 24, 2024 in CBT mode in three slots.

Please note: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has rescheduled the Delhi centres' CUET UG 2024 exam for May 15 to May 29, 2024. Candidates who will take the CUET (UG) - 2024 exam in Delhi on May 16th, 17th, and 18th, 2024, are advised to download a revised admit card. According to the latest official statement given by the NTA, If a candidate is unable to download the latest admit card from the web portal, he or she should reach at the examination centre with the admit card already downloaded and appear in the examination. Also, the NTA has reschedule the exam for Silchar centre, Assam for May 24 to May 29, 2024.

Detailed CUET Exam Analysis 2024

The CUET UG 2024 exam is set to be held on May 29, 2024 for pen and paper and CBT mode of examinations. The CUET UG 2024 exam for all the domain and language subjects have been successfully concluded from Day 1 to Day 7 across all shifts. The CUET UG 2024 was held from May 15 - May 24, 2024 in hybrid mode across various shifts and cities. CUET 2024 Economics Exam Level: Moderate - DifficultCUET UG 2024 Day 2 Shift 1A Economics exam has concluded. Based on student's feedback, the CUET 2024 Economics exam difficulty level was moderate. However, for some students the exam difficulty level was higher than that of the boards exam. Also, Micro provided the most comprehensive answers and included more theoretical questions. Some students said that they studied from Arihant books and got similar questions in the exam. Questions were asked from the topics Determination of Income And Employment, Case studies, Balance Of Payments, Money and banking, Numerical problems, Chronological aspect, etc.

CUET UG 2024 Day 2 Shift 1B Hindi exam has concluded. Based on student responses the CUET 2024 Hindi question paper was easy. Candidates stated that the questions were repeated from previous year's question papers.

CUET 2024 Physics Exam Level: Moderate - DifficultCUET UG 2024 Day 2 Shift 2A Physics exam has concluded. Based on students feedback the CUET 2024 Physics question paper level was moderate to difficult.

CUET 2024 Geography Exam Level: Easy - Moderate

CUET UG 2024 Day 3 Shift 1A Geography exam was generally moderate. Based on student's feedback, the majority of questions came from the main assignments in the Geography Part 1 book. Map-related questions were also included in the paper. 

Another student stated that the CBSE Geography exam was more difficult than the CUET Geography exam. Furthermore, no questions from outside the syllabus were asked during the exam. Most of the students were able to complete it within the time limit.  

Physical Education

CUET 2024 Physical Education Exam Level: ModerateCUET UG 2024 Day 3 Shift 1BPhysical Education exam had a Moderate overall difficulty level. From the Yoga section, no questions were given. There have been no reports of out-of-syllabus questions, though. 
Business Studies

Shift 2A

CUET 2024 Business Studies Exam Level: ModerateCUET UG 2024 Day 3 Shift 2A Business Studies exam had a Moderate overall difficulty level. More than half of the questions were taken directly from NCERT textbooks. Students stated that the paper was balanced and that they were able to complete the questions within the time frame.
Accountancy

CUET 2024 Accountancy Exam Level: Moderate

CUET UG 2024 Day 3 Shift 2B Accounting exam was moderate. Some of the previous year's questions were asked again, but with different language. Questions were posed about cash flow statement topics. Students stated that the questions were direct, but the CUET 2024 accounting paper was lengthy.

CUET 2024 History Exam Level: Easy - Moderate

CUET UG 2024 Day 4 Shift 1 History exam was relatively easy. The questions were based on the NCERT syllabus and were easy to complete within the time limit.

Students stated that they were questioned about the sections on the constitution and partition. Modern historical questions were more like those from antiquity. Some students stated that, there were questions about the Vijayanagara Empire as well, and the "match the following" type of questions was simple.

The examination was NCERT-based, with the majority of the questions focusing on Indian relations and the Soviet Union. CUET UG 2024 Day 4 Shift 2 Sociology exam's overall difficulty was easy to moderate. Questions were only based on the NCERT syllabus. The examination covered topics such as secularism, socialisation, and capitalization.

CUET UG 2024 Day 1 Exam Analysis

CUET 2024 Day 1 Exam for Shift 1A Chemistry, Shift 1B Biology, Shift 2A English, and Shift 2B General Test has been concluded. For CUET UG 2024 Day 1 Shift 1A Chemistry exam, one of the students stated that the overall difficulty level of the CUET 2024 chemistry exam was difficult. The CUET UG 2024 Day 1 Shift 1B Biology Exam had a moderate to tough difficulty level. Students stated that the NCERT syllabus was the core for the CUET 2024 biology paper. Some students, however, claimed that the questions also came from the NCERT syllabus's eliminated sections. 

Further, Based on student's feedbackCUET UG 2024 Day 1 Shift 2A English exam was easy to moderate. Questions were given from the synonym and antonym sections, paragraph sections, and unseen passages. However, some students stated that the unseen package section was difficult and time-consuming. Lastly, the CUET UG 2024 Day 1 Shift 2B General Test was easy to moderate well well. However, based on majority of students' feedback, the CUET 2024 general test was easy for them as candidates were able to answer as many questions as possible.

CUET UG 2024 Day 2 Exam Analysis

The CUET UG 2024 Day 2 Shift 1A EconomicsShift 1B Hindi , Shift 2A Physics exams have beensuccessfully concluded. Based on students feedback the CUET 2024 Mathematics question paper level was easy to moderate, CUET 2024 Hindi question paper was easy, CUET 2024 Physics question paper level was moderate to difficult, and, CUET 2024 Economics exam difficulty level was moderate.

CUET UG 2024 Day 3 Exam Analysis

The CUET UG 2024 Day 3 exam is being held for Shift 1A Geography, Shift 1B Physical Education, Shift 2A Business Studies, and Shift 2B Accountancy. The CUET UG 2024 Day 3 Shift 1A Geography exam was generally moderate. Based on student's feedback, the majority of questions came from the main assignments in the Geography Part 1 book. Map-related questions were also included in the paper. Another student stated that the CBSE Geography exam was more difficult than the CUET Geography exam. Furthermore, no questions from outside the syllabus were asked during the exam. Most of the students were able to complete it within the time limit.  Population, Migration, and Human Development, Rural and Urban Settlements, Resources and Development, Transport, Communication, and International Trade, Environmental Issues, Human Geography: Nature and Scope, World Population and Changes, Transportation, Communication, and Trade, and Human Settlements were among the topics covered in the CUET 2024 geography question paper. There were also some passage-based questions.

CUET UG 2024 Day 3 Shift 1BPhysical Education exam had a Moderate overall difficulty level. From the Yoga section, no questions were given. There have been no reports of out-of-syllabus questions, though. CUET UG 2024 Day 3 Shift 2A Business Studies exam had a Moderate overall difficulty level. The CUET UG Day 6 Shift 1 has been concluded for Computer Science and Information Practices. As per the review from the students, May 22, 2024 Shift 1 was easy to moderate. The CUET exam 2024 May 22, Shift 2 was conducted for Sanskrit, Entrepreneurship, Home Science and Teaching Aptitude. As per the students feedback, the questions for shift 2 were moderately easy and direct. CUET UG Day 6 Shift 3 exam difficulty level was easy - moderate. Based on students feedback, the questions were direct and easy to attempt within the given time period.

Detailed CUET Exam Analysis 2023

CUET Exam Analysis 2023 of May 21 Slots 1, and 2 were easy and slot 3 was moderate. According to student feedback, anyone who has done their preparation well can attempt the paper. More than English and General Knowledge, Reasoning, and Math questions were asked. State and capital questions from the General Knowledge section were asked, and the unseen passage in English was very simple. Overall, Slots 1 & 2 of the May 21, 2023, CUET paper was simple. This year's exam format for both English and GT has been modified. CUET 2023 Slot 3 was conducted for domain subjects. As students stated the Science subjects' exams as moderate to difficult. The question types were similar to those from the previous year. Some questions were difficult and time-consuming, while others were easy. FAQs about CUET Exam Analysis

How many questions are in the CUET UG language section?

There will be 50 questions in the CUET UG Language section. In order to pass the CUET UG exam, candidates must answer 40 out of 50 questions. The language portion will evaluate the candidates' comprehension of various kinds of passages in terms of reading comprehension. There will also be grammatical questions in this section. Candidates should work through past year's question papers and mock exams to familiarise themselves with the format and style of questions that will be asked in the CUET UG language section. Candidates have 45 minutes to complete this CUET UG section. 

What is a good CUET UG score?

Based on the CUET UG cut off for the academic year 2023-24, scoring above 700 marks is considered a good score in CUET UG. Candidates who score above 700 may be classified as 95th percentile or higher. Candidates can enrol in top universities such as the University of Delhi, Banaras Hindu University, Jawaharlal Nehru University, and other top central universities to pursue their desired course. The following range is considered good for admission to top universities:

  • Very Good Score: 700 or higher.
  • Good score: 650 and above.

The score range of 400-649 is considered average. Admission on the basis of average score can be obtained at any decent college in India that accepts CUET scores.

No, you can not get admission in Aditi Mahavidyalaya Delhi based on 12th marks. For admission to B.A. (Programme), B.A. (Hons.) Geography, B.A. (Hons.) Social Work, B.A. (Hons.) Hindi Patrakarita Evam Jansanchar, B.Com. (Hons.), B.Com. and B.El.Ed at Aditi Mahavidyalaya Delhi, you have to take CUET exam. All UG admissions at the college are based on the CUET scores and done through Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS).

Yes, the CUET exam is compulsory for admission to undergraduate programs offered by Central Universities and all their affiliated colleges. Admission at the 45 central universities will be done through the CUET exam only instead of a candidate's class 12 marks.
