After submitting the counselling fee, the candidates will be provided with a 14-digit PIN code which will help them register for the counselling procedure. The counselling process registration fee is INR 350 which is payable at any branch of the specified bank across the state of Gujarat. The concerned body will first conduct a mock counselling session and only after the final merit list is released, the eligible candidates will be invited to the counselling process. The seat allotment process will conclude once the candidates submit their tuition fees.

Candidates can refer to the following steps to participate in the GUJCET 2025 counselling process -

Step 1: Obtaining the Information Booklet and PIN Code

The candidates have to, first of all, obtain the Information Booklet and PIN code before filling and submitting their application form. The candidates will not be able to proceed further with the counselling procedure without the PIN.

Step 2: Application Form Filling

The candidates will be able to register themselves for the GUJCET 2025 counselling process after they have bought the PIN. While filling up the counselling process application form, the candidates have to provide all their academic, personal and contact information along with their GUJCET roll number to create a new User ID. The candidates have to read the terms & conditions/declaration first before clicking on the submit button to submit the application form. The candidates then have to take a printout of the filled application form for future use.

Step 3: Reporting to the Help Centres

The candidates have to report at the Help Centres along with the printout of the filled application form and other requisite documents for verification purposes. Both the original and the copies of the documents have to be produced for the same. The candidates will be given a registration slip with a signature and seal from the concerned authorities after the verification is complete.

Step 4: Filling and Freeing of Choices

The candidates have to choose from the list of courses and Institutes after logging in to the official website by entering their valid User ID, password and PIN. The candidates will have two lifelines for choice filling and alteration in the form. The candidates will also have the options of saving, modifying and locking their choices. The candidates can also alter their locked choices by clicking on the “Unlock Choices” button.

Step 5: Allotment of Seat

The candidates can check the online seat allotment results in online mode from the official GUJCET website. To check the seat allotment result, the candidates have to log in using their valid credentials such as User ID, Password and PIN. Candidates who are content with their allotment of the seat have to click on the “Freeze” button after which they will not be able to participate in further rounds of the GUJCET 2025 counselling process. To accept the seat offered, the candidates have to download the information letter and bank fee challan which will contain information regarding the tuition fee as well. The candidates will have two options for paying the fee. The online fee can be paid via credit card/debit card/net banking or the candidates can pay the fee at any branch of the specified bank (across the state). Filling up of Management Quota (MQ) Seats

The following pointers will play an important role during the process of filling up the Management Quota seats -

  • It is mandatory for each GUJCET 2025 Participating College to conduct a fair, non-exploitative and transparent admission process

  • Nothing should become a hindrance for an eligible candidate to obtain his/her admission form

  • Every Institute must nominate a nodal officer from within who would supervise the Management Seat admission. The Institute must inform the Admission Committee about the nodal officer they appointed and must provide his/her details like name and contact number to the Committee

  • The Nodal Officer would be contacted both by the Admission Committee and the students regarding any issue they are facing which is admission-related and it must be solved by the Nodal Officer within the stipulated period

  • The Admission Committee will issue a timetable which must be followed by each Institute for the process of admission granting on the Management Seats

  • The admission process for the Management Seats will commence after the ACPAC state-level counselling. The Participant Institute (PI) module of the ACPC web portal must contain the list of all the students who have been admitted.

  • A Group of Institutions or Individual Institutions on a common platform can conduct the process of admission to the Management Seats. Every detail regarding the same shall be published on the Institute’s website as well as in a leading state newspaper which has a circulation of more than 50,000 copies

  • All the details regarding the admission process schedule must be published by the Institutions in a single advertisement and the details regarding the same must be fed to the Admission Committee

  • A record of acceptance of admission forms and their distribution should be maintained by the Institute separately. It is also the responsibility of the Institute to prepare the merit list from the applications of the students who are eligible and occupy the merit number of the admission committee and thereafter display it on the notice board. The Institute must also upload the same on the official website and a copy should also be sent to the Admission Committee.

  • All those students who are a part of the merit list, must be individually intimated, for the counselling process, by the Institute via registered post or speed post at least seven days before the commencement of the counselling process

  • The admission form fee for the Management Seats must not exceed INR 350/-

  • Any Institute found violating the above-mentioned guidelines will be severely dealt with under the Gujarat Professional Technical Education Colleges or Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Fixation of Fees) Act, 2007 (Gujarat Act No. 2 of 2008)

  • Students who did not clear their qualifying examination from the state of Gujarat can apply for the Management Seats in the Self-Financed Institutions. The eligible candidates will be admitted based on their merit. 5% of the total Management Seats will be available for such students

  • The Institute does not have any right to deny issuing and accepting the admission form to any candidate within the stipulated period

  • In case an Institute denies issuing and accepting the admission form submitted by a candidate within the stipulated time period, then the candidate may download an admission form from the official Admission Committee website and send it back to them after duly filling the form. The admission form along with an affidavit on a stamp paper (INR 50/-) and the admission form fee must be personally submitted by the students at the Admission Committee Grievance Cell. For separate Institutes, the students have to submit separate forms and affidavits. The same will be then forwarded to the Institutions and the Institutions will accept these forms and include the students in the merit list.
