Candidates need to note that the application form will be released separately for Indian nationals and Foreign nationals online only on the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. The last date to apply for JEE Advanced 2025 is May 7, 2025. The process of registering for JEE Advanced 2025 involves several steps verifying the JEE Main 2025 application number, candidate’s name, and date of birth. Steps to Fill JEE Advanced 2025 Application Form

Once the JEE Advanced 2025 application form is available, candidates must go through the following steps to successfully fill out and submit the same. 

Registration Procedure:

  • Candidates should register through the online portal, i.e. jeeadv.nic.in
  • Once logged in, candidates should provide details such as the medium of the question paper language (English or Hindi), the choices of the examination centre etc. 
  • Aspirants should enter JEE Main 2025 Roll number, email address, Mobile number, and D.O.B to access the JEE Advanced application form.
  • The candidate will have the option of adding another mobile number above the number given during JEE Main registration.

Upload the Scanned Documents:

After providing all the requisite information, the next step is to upload the scanned copies of the documents:

  • Class 10th certificate as 'Date of Birth' proof

  • Class 12th Mark sheet and certificate

  • Category Certificates (OBC-NCL certificate/SC/ST/PWD)

  • Services scribe form letter

  • OCI certificate or PIO card

  • DS category certificate

Pay Registration Fee of JEE Advanced 2025:

  • The JEE Advanced registration fee can be paid either online or offline.

  • In online mode, the fee payment can be done through net banking or debit card only. Please note no credit card can be used to make the payment.

  • In offline mode, the payment can be done through the SBI bank e-challan.

  • Please note the candidates' registration fee is neither refundable nor transferable.

Documents Required for JEE Advanced Application 2025

Candidates must have specific documents with them to complete the JEE Advanced application process 2025. The documents required for the JEE Advanced Application Form 2025 for the different categories of candidates have been tabulated below.

GEN-EWS candidates

The category certificate to be uploaded must have been issued on or after April 01, 2025, in consonance with the up-to-date guidelines of the Government of India. Candidates unable to produce the certificate accordingly can upload a declaration (Declaration instead of GEN-EWS Certificate) to that effect.

SC or ST candidates

Candidates must upload the caste certificate (for SC) or tribe certificate(for ST) according to the up-to-date guidelines of the Government of India.

OBC-NCL candidates

The category certificate must have been issued on or after April 01, 2025, in consonance with the up-to-date guidelines of the Government of India. If any OBC-NCL candidate fails to produce the OBC-NCL certificate (issued on or after April 01, 2024) for the online JEE Advance registration, he/she can upload a declaration (Declaration instead of OBC-NCL Certificate) to that effect. Candidates can refer to ncbc.nic.in for the up-to-date guidelines and updates on the Central List of State-wise OBCs.

Dyslexic candidates

They are required to submit FORM-DYSLEXIC 1 and 2 instead of FORM-PwD. The certificate must specify ‘SEVERE’ under the Dyslexia category to enable the candidate to get the benefit of the PwD category

PwD candidates

Candidates falling under this category must upload the Physical Disability certificate (FORM-PwD II/III/IV whichever is applicable]) issued by the notified medical authority.

For Scribe Services

Candidates in requirement of the services of a scribe must send a request letter to the Chairman of the respective zonal coordinating IIT (FORM-SCRIBE).

DS category candidates

They must upload the certificate (FORM-DS) issued by a competent authority in the Directorate of Resettlement and Rehabilitation, New Delhi under the Ministry of Defence or the Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India.

Candidates whose Class 12 examination board is outside India or is not listed in the examinations are considered equivalent to Class 12

They submit a certificate from the Association of Indian Universities to the effect that the examination qualified by the candidates is equivalent to the class 12 examination.

JEE Advanced Application Form 2025 for Services of Scribe

The PwD candidates who are visually impaired OR dyslexic (severe) have a disability in the upper limbs or have lost fingers/hands thereby preventing them from properly operating the Computer Based Test platform can avail of the services of a scribe. PwD candidates who wish to avail the services of a scribe are required to opt for the service during the online registration of JEE Advanced 2025. To avail of the services of a scribe, the candidates are required to request the Chairperson, JEE (Advanced) 2025, of the nearest Zonal Coordinating IIT in the prescribed format (FORM-SCRIBE). The requisition, along with a copy of the PwD certificate (FORM-PwD [II/III/IV, whichever is applicable]) OR a copy of the certificates of Dyslexic Candidate (FORM- DYSLEXIC 1 and DYSLEXIC 2), whichever is applicable, must be uploaded at the time of online form filling for JEE Advanced 2025.

Note: Candidates must keep in mind that the scribe will help them only in reading the questions and/or keying in the answers according to the directions of the candidate. A scribe will neither explain the questions nor suggest any solutions.
