JEE Advanced Paper Analysis 2019
The JEE Advanced 2019 exam was conducted by IIT Roorkee on 27th May 2019 in two shifts. Candidates appearing for JEE Advanced 2019 had to appear in both the Paper I and Paper II for admission into various IITs and premier institutions in India. The JEE Advanced 2019 Paper I was conducted in the first shift, i.e from 9:00 am till 12:00 noon while the Paper II for JEE Advanced 2019 was conducted from 2:00 pm till 5:00 pm. JEE Advanced 2019 Paper I Analysis
The JEE Advanced 2019 Paper I was conducted in the morning shift which consisted of a total of 54 questions. The Paper I was divided into three sections-Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and the candidates had a maximum of 180 minutes to try and attempt all the questions. The maximum marks for the JEE Advanced 2019 Paper I was 186.
JEE Advanced 2019 Paper I Section 1 Analysis
This section had 4 questions and each question carried 3 marks
The maximum marks for this section were 12
For every correct answer, the candidates will be awarded 3 marks while for every incorrect entry 1 mark will be deducted
There will be no negative marking for the unattempted questions
JEE Advanced 2019 Paper I Section 2 Analysis
This section comprised of 8 questions where each question carried 4 marks
The maximum marks for this section were 32
For every correct answer, the candidates will be awarded 4 marks
For every incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted and there will be no negative marking for the unattempted questions

Overall Analysis of JEE Advanced 2019 Paper I
Students who took the Paper I of JEE Advanced 2019 felt the difficulty level of the paper was moderate to difficult. Physics, as usual, was the toughest section of all. Physics questions were based on Class XIth and Class XIIth syllabus while Algebra & Coordinate Geometry questions dominated the Mathematics section and the Chemistry questions were mostly related to Inorganic and Physical Chemistry. Except for the total marks of the JEE Advanced 2019 Paper I, which was changed from 180 to 186 this year, the rest of the paper was similar to previous year JEE Advanced paper.
JEE Advanced 2019 Paper II Analysis
JEE Advanced Paper II for the year 2019 was conducted in the evening shift, i.e from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm by IIT Roorkee on 27th May 2019. IIT JEE Advanced 2019 Paper II was also conducted in online mode and it is estimated that over 1.73 lakh students appeared for the same. The total number of questions asked in the JEE Advanced 2019 Paper II was 54 which is the same as the previous year. The maximum marks of Paper II JEE Advanced 2019 were increased from 180 to 186 this year.

JEE Advanced 2019 Paper II Section 1 Analysis
This section was comparatively easy than Paper I Section 1
The questions asked in this section were mostly conceptual
The questions were based on Class XI and Class XII syllabus
JEE Advanced 2019 Paper II Section 2 Analysis
The students, as usual, felt this section to be the easiest of all
Most of the questions asked in this section were from Inorganic and Physical Chemistry
This section also consisted of some tricky questions to assess the in-depth knowledge and logical concluding ability of the candidates
JEE Advanced 2019 Paper II Section 3 Analysis
The students reported that the difficulty level of this section was moderate to hard
The students felt that Section 3 was the lengthiest of all
Most of the questions in this section were from Algebra, Calculus and Coordinate Geometry
Overall Analysis of JEE Advanced 2019 Paper II
Students who appeared in the JEE Advanced 2019 paper II exam reported that the overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate to difficult. The students, however, felt that compared to JEE Advanced 2019 Paper I, Paper II was easier. While Physics was tough in Paper I, Paper II Mathematics section was lengthy. Compared to the previous year, the JEE Advanced 2019 Paper II was tougher and most of the students could not complete the paper within the stipulated time. Students who had a good hold over the concepts and better time management strategy fared well in the exams. The questions were in MCQ format which had either single or multiple correct answers. According to the experts, the overall difficulty level of JEE Advanced 2019 paper I and Paper II was moderately difficult. They feel this year's General category cutoff may hover between 127 and 142 which may be enough for securing a seat in the IITs and leading Institutes in India.
JEE Advanced 2019 Pre-Exam Analysis
JEE Advanced 2019 will be conducted by IIT Roorkee on 27th May 2019 in online mode, and the candidates aspiring for admissions into various IITs and premier Institutes in India will be taking the JEE Advanced 2019 examination. Only those candidates who will qualify the JEE Advanced 2019 examination, which consists of two papers-Paper I and Paper II will be offered admission into various JEE Advanced 2019 participating colleges. The candidates appearing for JEE Advanced 2019 must sit in both the papers and on the basis of their performance in both Paper I and Paper II, the JEE Advanced 2019 rank list will be prepared. JEE Advanced Paper I will be conducted in the first shift, i.e from 9 am to 12 noon while Paper II is scheduled to take place in the second shift, i.e from 2 pm to 5 pm. The JEE Advanced 2019 result will be declared on 14th June 2019 and the qualified candidates will be able to participate in the further admission process.
Both the JEE Advanced Paper I and Paper II will be divided into three sections, i.e Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to assess the analytical, comprehension and reasoning skills of the candidates. Each paper in JEE Advanced 2019 examination will carry 54 questions based on the topics covered in Class XI and Class XII. Each paper will carry maximum marks of 183 and the candidates will have 180 minutes (3 hours) to complete the same. The candidates will have the liberty to answer in either Hindi or English in the JEE Advanced 2019 examination. The candidates will only be allowed to use a Blue or Black Ballpoint pen while answering the questions. There will be negative marking in JEE Advanced 2019 examination.
