About NExT 2025 Syllabus

NExT 2025 Syllabus is scheduled to be released soon at the official website of AIIMS Delhi. Previously, the NExT Syllabus was released by the National Medical Commission following the National Exit Test Regulations 2023. The core structure of the NExT 2025 Syllabus is likely to remain the same while the weightage of each subject may be revised. The NExT 2025 Syllabus is prepared based on the subjects taught in the MBBS degree, for candidates who wish to pursue a postgraduate medical course in India. For candidates who fall under the category of Foreign Nationals, it is important to follow the NExT 2025 Syllabus page by page to prepare for the NExT 2025 exam successfully. Interestingly, the NExT 2025 Syllabus has about 13 important subject topics that are divided into the two stages of the NExT entrance exam. Some of the important subjects included in the NExT 2025 syllabus are Ophthalmology, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Otorhinolaryngology, Surgery and Allied Disciplines, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Medicine and Allied Disciplines, etc. 

The contents of the NExT 2025 syllabus are curated separately for NExT exam Part 1 and Part 2. According to the latest updates regarding the NExT 2025 Syllabus structure, the syllabus for Part 1 comprises all the major subjects from the 3rd year of the MBBS course curriculum. In total, 6 papers of varied subjects are allotted for the NExT Part 1 Exam, including Medicine and Allied Disciplines, Surgery and Allied Disciplines, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Otorhinolaryngology, and Ophthalmology.  Part 2 of the NExT 2025 exam for MBBS comprises 7 subjects in total, namely, Medicine and Allied Subjects, Surgery and Allied Subjects, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Otorhinolaryngology, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. According to the NExT 2025 Syllabus, Part 1 of the NExT entrance exam is theoretical while Part 2 is practical. Additionally, apart from the practical/clinical-based test in Part 2, the NExT entrance exam will also cover a Viva Test in its Part 2. Only candidates who successfully qualify the NExT Part 1 exam based on the NExT 2025 Syllabus, will be deemed eligible to participate in the next round of the NExT exam.
