UPTET 2024 Monthly/30 Days Preparation Plan

Follow the 3 Ps Strategy

The three Ps—plan, prepare, and practice—must be used when preparing for any exam.

Plan: Making a plan entails setting up a timetable and allocating certain amounts of time for each subject. Analyzing your skill is also crucial.

Prepare:  The next step after planning is to make the necessary preparations. According to the schedule and days allotted for each subject, preparation must be completed. For several topics, sectional tests and practise exams can be taken over the weekends.

Practice: One becomes flawless with practice. Practice is necessary for some topics, including math, grammar, reasoning, and others. By practising, you'll gain the self-confidence you need to take the test and boost your self-esteem.

Understand Exam Patterns & Syllabus

It's important for candidates to thoroughly understand the UPTET Syllabus and exam format in order to achieve the best results. Understanding how the subjects relate to one another will be made easier thanks to the structure and foundation provided by this. The syllabus also outlines how the weighting of each subject in the paper will be determined and how the marks will be distributed.

The UPTET test has two levels and is offered in both online and offline formats (OMR Sheet).

  •  Level-I is for Primary Teachers (Class I-V)
  •  Level-II for TGT (Class VI-VIII)

Although the content is different for each level, the exam format is the same. Candidates would have two hours and thirty minutes to complete the exam's 150 total questions. No marks are deducted for incorrect answers.

Solve Previous Years' Question

To achieve a high test score, it is crucial to complete the previous year's exam questions. By completing these papers, one can learn about the many sorts of exam questions, analyse trends, assess performance, identify areas that need more focus, and raise preparation levels.
Candidates must study, concentrate on the topics with the most weight, and answer more questions about them.
It is essential to really comprehend topics rather than simply reading about them. Candidates should make an effort to study effectively rather than spend the entire day reading.

Try at least three practice exams or work through a question bank over the weekend to identify your weak points. This aids in identifying areas that require more work and clarifies which subjects require more preparation.

Improve Accuracy

Since there is no negative marking in the UPTET exam, candidates are allowed to attempt all of the questions. Therefore, applicants should practise answering more questions to increase their accuracy and have a fast enough speed to answer all of the questions in the allotted time.

Prepare Quick Notes

Candidates for the UPTET exam must make brief or quick notes for all of the crucial subject-related topics. These brief or quick notes will make it easier to quickly review the complete syllabus prior to the exam. Making brief tables and notes for formulas, important concepts, and concepts/definitions, among other things, and using text highlighters to review key areas in the text all encourage active learning, attention to detail, improve knowledge and retention, and increase focus.
