The Exam Regulatory Authority, Uttar Pradesh, conducts the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) once a year for individuals who want to make a career in a government teaching position. Different Stages of the UPTET 2024 Selection Process

The selection process for the entrance exam of the UPTET Recruitment 2024 is divided into three stages and they are as follows:

Stage 1: Go through the UPTET Eligibility Criteria

A highly legitimate prerequisite for employment as a primary teacher in UP state government schools is UPTET eligibility. So, before filling out the application form, you must first review the official UPTET Eligibility Criteria requirements to determine whether you are eligible. For candidates to be eligible to apply for the UPTET test, they must be at least 18 years old. The UPTET exam has no upper age restriction. The educational requirements for Papers 1 and 2 are different. Look at the specific requirements listed below:

Stage 2: Fill Out the UPTET Application Form through Online Mode

It's time to begin the UPTET online application process and complete the online application form on the official website once you've checked the UPTET eligibility box. The steps in the UPTET Apply Online procedure include registering and filling up the forms for Papers I & II, or both. After that, applicants must pay UPTET application fees according to the following requirements.

Stage 3: Download the UPTET Hall Ticket

To appear for the written examination, candidates must possess their UPTET admit card. Typically, two to three weeks before the exam, the Board provides the UPTET hall ticket. You may access the official website to obtain your UPTET admit card using your individual registration ID and password. 

Stage 4: Appear for the UPTET Exam

Candidates who want to pursue a profession in teaching can take two of UPTET's papers, that are Candidates who want to teach classes 1 to 5 must take Paper-I. Those who intend to teach grades 6 through 8 must take and pass the Paper-II. If the candidate wishes to teach classes from 1 to 8, he may also take both exams. The UPTET exam is conducted through offline mode in the pen-and-paper format. Each paper carries 150 marks and will be held for 150 minutes each. 

Stage 5: Check the UPTET Answer Key

After the exam, the UPTET answer key is made available. To get an accurate estimation of their probable exam score, candidates might consult the answer key. A few weeks after the exam is taken, the Board will make the official UPTET Answer Key available. Candidates are required to carefully review the answer key in order to determine their anticipated exam score. In the event that the issued provisional answer key contains incorrect answers, candidates may also raise objections against it. 

Stage 6: Check the UPTET Results

A few weeks after the exam is held, the UPTET results are posted on the exam's official website. Candidates can use their registration number and password to check the UPTET scorecard. The results for stage 2 of the UPTET entrance test will be made public by UPBEB and uploaded on the exam's official website. To qualify for stage 3 of the entrance exam, General Category candidates must receive a minimum of 60% and Reserved Category candidates must obtain a minimum of 55% on the written exam. 

Stage 6: Obtain the UPTET Eligibility Certificate

Following the release of the UPTET results, a UPTET Certificate of Eligibility will be issued to each selected candidate. Candidates can then begin applying for teaching positions in UP government schools. After passing the exam, applicants can apply for UP Government Teacher posts at any time up till their upper age limit since this entrance exam's validity is regarded as lifetime. This certificate had a 5-year expiration date up until this point.

What is UPTET Eligibility Certificate?

The UPTET eligibility certificate is something that is issued to candidates who have cleared the UPTET exam. The qualified candidates will receive the UPTET certificate by post or the candidates shall be asked to collect the certificate from the exam authority. UPTET eligibility is mandatory for candidates who wish to appear for the Teacher Recruitment Exam of Uttar Pradesh. The Super TET (UP Assistant Teacher), LT Grade, and UP TGT and PGT recruiting exams are the three main recruitment procedures that are anticipated. Super TET: is a state-level eligibility test that the Basic Education Board of Uttar Pradesh administers for candidates who want to work as primary and secondary school teachers in government-run schools. UP LT Grade Teacher: Every year, the UP LT Grade Teacher Recruitment Exam is held to hire candidates for open Assistant LT Grade Teacher jobs at schools in Uttar Pradesh that are managed by the State Government.
