Students can check the WB JECA result 2025 by visiting the WBJEEB official website. The steps to view the WB JECA 2025 result are as follows - 

Step 1: Go to the official website of WB JECA 2025 and click on the 'WB JECA Rank Card' tab.

Step 2: Then, enter your Application Number, Password, and Date of Birth.

Step 3: Click on the 'Submit' tab once all the credentials are filled.

Step 4: After that, students are directed to the next page wherein the WB JECA rank card 2025 is displayed along with their rank and marks.

Step 5: Download the WB JECA rank card, take a printout and keep a soft copy as well.

WB JECA Rank Card 2025

The result of WB JECA 2025 has been released in the form of Rank Card. It includes all rankings and scores of the students. In order to maintain the confidence of each individual candidate, the board never releases a rank list. students must log in with their password in order to access their rank card. All students who take the test will receive a rank card with their scores. However, not everyone will be given a rank, and as a result, not everyone will be qualified for counselling, for which the board will choose a cutoff rank and/or score.

WB JECA 2025 Ranking Methodology & Merit List

WBJEEB will publish a merit rank list based on the students total scores on the entrance test. Qualified students of WB JECA should check their names in the merit list and then be prepared for the verification and counselling process.

• This list is in the name and style of ‘GMR’ (short for General Merit Rank).

• Separate Reserved category merit rank is also released for different categories of students such as SC Rank, OBC-A-Rank, OBC-B Rank, PwD Rank.

• But only ‘GMR’ is applicable for sequencing the counselling process and seat allotment.

• Ranking of the said merit list is done in descending order of total marks scored in the entrance test.

• However, there may be ties and following the tie-breaking rule is applicable for them in the determination of their merit rank.

Tie-breaking Methodology in Merit Rank

• Less negative marks in Mathematics & Aptitude Test taken together.

• More positive marks in Mathematics.

• More positive marks in Aptitude Test.

• Less negative marks in Mathematics.

• Less negative marks in the Aptitude Test.

• If the tie exists still thereafter, it will be broken by the Date of Birth (DOB) of the concerned candidates; the older candidate will be given preference over the younger one.

Error in WB JECA Result 2025

If students have any queries or issues with their WB JECA 2024 result they can contact the authorities and follow the instructions given below. 

• Within 24 hours of the results being announced, students may submit questions via email (to info@wbjeeb.in) with copies of their rank cards, copies of the question booklets with their series codes, and self-calculated question-by-question and overall scores if they have any complaints about the score they received
• The Board will not respond to inquiries submitted in any other way, including letters, phone calls, in-person visits, etc
• Any students who requests a score card from the Board showing the answer keys and calculation of their score (including those who submit RTIs for these purposes) must submit an application along with a demand draught for Rs. 500 made out to the "West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board" and payable in Kolkata
• However, this service will only be offered for 60 days following the announcement of the results or until the counselling is completed, whichever comes first
