After the HPU B.Ed CET results are announced, aspirants who made it to the merit list will be shortlisted for the counselling process. The detailed process and the schedule of the counselling will be uploaded on the official website at hpuniv.ac.in and admissions.hpushimla.in by the Department of Education, Himachal Pradesh University.
The HPU B.Ed CET 2023 results will be valid only for the current academic year for which the entrance was held to offer admission to the 2-year full-time B.Ed programme. The scores achieved by the candidates cannot be carried forward to the next academic year.
The university will not entertain or consider any requests for re-evaluation of the answer sheet of the HPU B.Ed CET.
The minimum qualifying mark for the SC / ST / OBC / PH category candidates in the HPU B.Ed CET is 45 out of an overall score of 150. That means the candidates need to achieve a percentage of 30% in the entrance examination.
The last qualifying mark for the General category candidates in the HPU B.Ed CET is 53 out of the total of 150. That is, they need to score a minimum aggregate of 35% in the test.
Yes, the merit list will be organised on the basis of the HPU B.Ed CET results.
If the conducting authority finds a tie in the HPU B.Ed CET results, then their subject-wise performance in HPU B.Ed CET will be given consideration. The priority of the order of sections includes Teaching Aptitude & Attitude, Language & Comprehension (Hindi & English), General Awareness(Mainly HP & India), Knowledge of the National Commission & Committees of Education, and Logical Reasoning. Even then, if the situation is not fixed, then the elder aspirant will be preferred.
The university will not dispatch the HPU B.Ed CET 2023 results individually to the candidates via post.
