The HPU B.Ed application form is typically released in May. To access the online application, aspirants have to visit the HPU admission official site admissions.hpushimla.in. After registration, aspirants have to enter their credentials and log into the pre-admission portal.
Inside the portal, candidates have to follow the instructions and complete the application. After successfully entering all the required details of the application form, they must move to the Payment section and pay the application fee via online modes such as debit card, credit card, Net banking, UPI, scan QR code, etc.
After completing all the steps of the HPU B.Ed application, candidates must check whether the confirmation page has been generated, to verify if the form has been submitted successfully.
HPU B.Ed CET results are typically declared within 2 to 3 weeks after the test is held. Candidates have to visit the official webpage to check the results/ merit lists. The conducting body will not dispatch any marks cards separately to the students via offline means. The university will not entertain any requests for rechecking /re-evaluation of the answer sheet of the entrance exam.
The HPU B.Ed merit lists are issued within a few days after the results. Candidates who have scored the minimum marks to qualify or more are included in the stream-wise merit lists. The merit lists include combined merit rank, category combined rank, name of the students, father’s name, stream, roll number, category, marks, and priority.
General Category aspirants who score equal to or more than 53 and SC/ ST/ OBC/ Physically Handicapped category candidates who obtain 45 or more are assigned a merit rank in the HPU B.Ed entrance exam. Please note that merely obtaining a rank in the HPU B.Ed CET merit list does not entitle the candidate to selection.
Once the notification is launched for the HPU B.Ed CET counselling process, candidates have to click on the link named “Candidate Login”. After logging in, aspirants have to complete the candidate profile by filling in the particulars such as details such as the name of the candidate, applicant type, registration number, roll number, father’s name, mobile number, category, subcategory, stream, total marks, combined merit rank, etc.
In the next phase, they have to complete the counselling form by entering personal information, paying the counselling fee, and then exercising college preferences. On the college preference page, candidates will be able to check the list of district-wise colleges, out of which they can submit 1 to 4 choices. After submitting the form, they have to download the counselling application form and payment slip.
In the subsequent step, HPU B.Ed seat allotment will be declared based on the college preferences. Those who secure allocation can obtain the allotment letter from the candidate login. After obtaining the allotment letter, aspirants have to report to the allocated college for document verification and admission fee payment.
