Login to the Official Website

  • Candidates must log in to the official website of the Himachal Pradesh University atadmissions.hpushimla.in and download the official prospectus for the 2-year B.Ed course.
  • By going through the prospectus, they will be able to understand the requirements to fill out the form and the eligibility criteria for the application process.
  • The candidates must also read the guidelines thoroughly for the online form submission.

Requirements Before Filling out the HPU B.Ed CET 2024 Application Form

  • Applicants belonging to the Ex-Servicemen/ Wives/ Wards of Ex-Servicemen/ Wives/ Widows/ Wards of Defence Personnel category must possess a valid certificate as proof of it awarded by an authorized body.
  • The certificate must conform to the official format issued by the conducting body, which has been described in the prospectus.
  • The certificates and scanned documents must be within 100 kb.
  • An email account is a must. Candidates who do not have an email account must create one.
  • Additionally, a basic mobile number is mandatory. If they do not have their mobile number, they must provide their parent’s/ guardian’s mobile number for correspondence.
  • Applicants must note that all the fields in the application form marked with a red asterisk must be completed by them.
  • Candidates who want to claim the EWS reservation category benefit have to provide the certificate for the same as per the format prescribed by the university.

Scanned Copy of the Photograph of the Candidates

  • Candidates have to submit passport-sized coloured photographs, having a full-face view, clicked facing the camera directly.
  • The image should not have any shadows and red eyes.
  • The image file dimensions should be within 100 kb and in jpeg or jpg format.
  • The candidates must save the image file with names of only up to 10 characters.

Scanned Copy of the Signature of the Candidates

  • Aspirants must put their signature on clean white paper with black ink and get it scanned.
  • Please remember the signature should be of the candidate’s and not anyone else’s.
  • The invigilator at the examination hall shall verify the signature before the start of the examination.
  • The admission committee will also validate the signature during the counselling or admission process.
  • The file size of the scanned image of the signature must be within 100 kb and in jpeg or jpg format.
  • The candidates must save the scanned signature file with names having a maximum of 10 characters.

Process for filling out the HPU B.Ed CET 2024 Online Application Form

  • Candidates have to open the application form for B.Ed and click on the option “Under Graduate”.
  • After that, they need to click on the B.Ed degree programme and furnish information on the following web pages: Personal Information, Educational Qualification, Summary of Application, Fee Payment, Submission of Reference Number Application Form.
  • Once the personal information is provided by the aspirants, the system will create a unique registration number along with the candidate’s password.
  • The registration number and the password will be emailed to the candidates and also sent to their mobile numbers. Applicants must note down the registration number for any future communication.
  • Once the student completes the registration number, then they can log out. They need to tap on the “Under Graduate” link and then on the “Click here for Student login” link. 
  • They should, next, enter their registration number with a password and continue to fill in data for other subsequent pages such as educational information, uploading photographs, and signature.
  • Candidates must press continue and save at the end of each page on the screen of the application form.

HPU B.Ed CET Application Fee Payment

Applicants have to settle the application fee payment via the online mode -

  • After selecting the online payment mode, candidates must hit the “Make Payment” button.
  • On the next page, applicants must choose the payment gateway and “Click on continue” for payment.
  • Candidates have to pick up any among - Debit/ Credit Card/ Net Banking etc. 
  • After the payment is done, the applicant will get a text with all the data and an e-receipt.
  • The aspirants must keep the bank or net banking statement receipt having the application registration number for any further 
  • Applicants must use the “Submit” button after completing the steps.

Things to do Before Application Form Submission of HPU B.Ed CET 2024

  • It is essential that before clicking on the final form submission link, the candidate ensures that all the information given by them is correct.
  • Once an aspirant has activated the final submission button, they cannot change or edit the particulars they entered on the same day.
  • However, candidates will be given a chance to edit the application form during the form correction window.
  • After successful fee payment, the system will develop a confirmation page of the HPU B.Ed CET application form for final submission.
  • Candidates must follow the rules mentioned on the screen of the application process and take a printout of the confirmation page of the HPU B.Ed CET form. The applicants must keep the hard copy and receipt as proof of payment.
  • Applicants must note that any steps of the form submission process or during the payment if found incomplete, will render the application process incomplete.

  • The application fee will not be reimbursed once the candidate has made the payment for the application.
  • If the candidate is found to be not qualified at any stage of the admission process, their admission will be cancelled.
  • Students are not required to send the hard copy of the online form’s confirmation page or the fee receipt to the university.
  • Aspirants must fill out their name and date of birth as per their matriculation certificate. Any variation in these will lead to the rejection of the application form.
  • The information input by the aspirants related to their names, birth date, stream, reservation category, Domicile State, and qualification will be regarded as final, and no edits will be permitted later on.
  • It is the applicants' duty to warrant that the information they supplied in the form should be accurate.
  • Candidates should be careful when opting for the reservation category in the form, as this cannot be altered after the result declaration or during the counselling process.
  • The university will not contemplate on any request for a change of examination centre after the form submission.
  • The final verification of the application form will be done during the counselling or admission process by the Counselling Committee and the Principal or the Management body of the concerned institutions / colleges.
