IIAD 2025 eligibility criteria are prescribed by the conducting body i.e. Indian Institute of Art & Design. Candidates can refer to the eligibility criteria on the official website. It is suggested that all the applicants of the IIAD exam must go through the complete eligibility criteria before filling out the IIAD 2025 application form

Students fulfilling all the eligibility requirements will only be considered eligible for this entrance exam. They must have passed their class 12th from any stream including arts, commerce or science from a recognised board scoring a minimum of 50% marks to be eligible for undergraduate courses at IIAD. The criteria for the Masters in Fashion Business Management course are set to differ from the other UG courses. So, for the Fashion Business Management candidates must have qualified their UG or bachelor level exam from a recognised college or university. IIAD Eligibility Criteria for Lateral Entry Admissions

Lateral entries are for candidates who want to join the programme in between the academic sessions. Candidates who are planning to get admitted to IIAD through lateral entry must note that this process is quite easy if they fulfil all the eligibility criteria. 

The candidate can start studying at IIAD in their second year if they have completed their first year of design diploma or degree programme from any national or internationally recognised design college. Admission will be granted to candidates based on their performance in the personal interview and portfolio presentation rounds.
