So, there is no official syllabus for this exam released by the Indian Institute of Art and Design. The candidates appearing for Fashion Business Management or postgraduation programmes in design need to undergo a personal interview round after the completion of the IIAD entrance exam. An e-mail invite is sent to the applicant with time and date mentioned for the personal interview round. This entrance is conducted in both online and offline modes in divided into written entrance exams and studio simulation rounds. It is to analyse the candidate’s logical reasoning & creativity skills and awareness of culture.
The iMAT exam is for the ones applying to the Fashion Management courses. It includes two rounds of selection - a written entrance exam and a personal interview round. The written entrance exam is conducted for 2 hours to judge the student’s ability to creative thinking and reasoning.
The selection process of IIAD is divided into two parts. For the UG course, the selection is based on the iDAT exam and Studio Simulation round while for the Fashion Business Management course, the selection includes the iMAT and interview rounds. Check the entire selection parameters below:
