IIAD 2025 Exam Pattern

The IIAD exam pattern is different for the iDAT and iMAT. The iDAT has two sections logical reasoning and creative thinking & visual aptitude. This exam is for all the UG courses offered at IIAD. Check out the exam pattern below:

This entrance is conducted in both online and offline modes in divided into written entrance exams and studio simulation rounds. It is to analyse the candidate’s logical reasoning & creativity skills and awareness of culture. 

The iMAT exam is for the ones applying to the Fashion Management courses. It includes two rounds of selection - a written entrance exam and a personal interview round. The written entrance exam is conducted for 2 hours to judge the student’s ability to creative thinking and reasoning.

IIAD 2025 Selection Process

Key Pointers of IIAD Exam Syllabus 2025

Candidates appearing in the IIAD exam 2025 must be aware of the key pointers of the IIAD syllabus, check out them below: 

  • Sections: The IIAD exam syllabus comprises two sections. Each section includes a different subject matter. Section A is Logical Reasoning while Section B is Creative Thinking and Visual Aptitude. 
  • Marks: The maximum mark for this entrance exam is 200 while both sections A and B are 100 marks each. 
  • Question type: This entrance exam includes objective-type, drawing type, and descriptive-type questions.
  • Total Questions: Each section of the IIAD question paper will carry a different number of questions. 
  • Sectional marks: The objective-type questions will carry 1 mark while the  Description or Drawing-based questions are suggested to carry 5 marks or more.
