The written examination for SEED 2025 will be conducted on 12 January 2025 by the Symbiosis Institute of Design, SID. The SEED 2025 application forms are now open till December 25, 2024.

The SEED 2025 syllabus focuses on design-related topics, assessing candidates' aptitude in design. Aspirants should review indicative topics to understand the areas from which questions may be asked in the SEED exam.

Once the written examinations of the candidates get cleared, they will have to upload the portfolio for the PR–PI stage. The link for the same will get activated on the SID admission portal once the SEED 2025 shortlist for PR–PI is declared. The format and guidelines for submitting candidates' portfolios are as indicated.
The portfolio shall be in digital form, comprising selected best works by the candidate that demonstrate a candidate's skill, passion, and interest in different techniques and areas. Your portfolio should be organized as a PowerPoint presentation; there should not be more than 15 slides. Convert this presentation to a single PDF file with a maximum size of 5MB.

Only shortlisted candidates based on the portfolios will be called for this final selection process. The candidate, in this phase of the selection process, will be interviewed by the selection panel based on the program selected and the portfolios submitted. This process will again be conducted through online mode. As part of the final selection phase, the candidate may be called to sketch or draw on a topic given to assess his skills.
As per the revised SEED 2025 exam pattern, there will be 60 multiple-choice type questions.
